His mate.Source?
His mate.Source?
Must be true thenHis mate.
A closed shop that could destroy football. We could all go to town on the stadium and burn it to the ground, break the players legs. Doesn't make it legal or even sane IMO. Why would a government get involved in stopping Manchester City drop the UEFA CL for another competition? Really, why?
He's on Sky News now. Blames Perez and his idea of a new stadium.Former president of Real Madrid is totally against it.

European Super League: Plans came at the worst moment in football history - Calderon
Super League clubs should have shown "solidarity" with their rivals amid the coronavirus crisis rather than rebelling, says Ramon Calderon.en.as.com
So do Barcelona & Real Madrid , They are owned by their membersDifference is the German teams need approval of the fans as they are owned by them the others aren’t so they can make their own decisions
I agree. We didn't fold for UEFA when they tried a shake down. I don't think we would be railroaded into signing. I can't believe we didn't know thay Bayern and PSG weren't on board, either, but schadenfreude is a powerful motive.I also think "super league pays City owners more money" is the biggest part of it. Think we need to stop pretending the club doesn't benefit from this financially or that we were forced into it.
(ducks for cover)
You are missing my point. I don't support the super League but most success needs investment at every level. Leicester didn't do it on their gate money but their Thai owners. Fair play just don't believe they did on altruism. Look at County and Fylde for example.Their transfer and wage bill was tiny compared to ours, yet they beat us fair and square. With knackered old donkey’s like Huth and Morgan in their back 4.
And right now I’d swap places with them.
Wait... your mate texts you mid shag and updated you? That's weird enough but "we"? Damn I'm getting old, the only thing I'm better at than getting cheeky euphemisms is making fish puns.Mate just text me=we have pulled out
so having fans involved in the decision making process means the soul can't be ripped out of the club by some **** who wants to add to his billions? who would have thought that eh?Difference is the German teams need approval of the fans as they are owned by them the others aren’t so they can make their own decisions
Much as I'm against the new league it would be disgraceful if we go down the path of some of these ideas.Stadium licensing, safety certificates etc. Club ownership rules. Loads of ways to kill it if the political will is there
Nerves a frayed on all sides.Sorry, I was a bit abrupt. Getting a bit fed up with our own fans turning on the greatest owners we could ever have and second-guessing their strategy without knowing all the facts.
Because we have a government who only see the PR benefits and really don’t care what they say or do as long as it benefits their image and standing. We could all go to town on the stadium and burn it to the ground, break the players legs. Doesn't make it legal or even sane IMO. Why would a government get involved in stopping Manchester City drop the UEFA CL for another competition? Really, why?
Its a no from Roma who want no part in a closed competition
Nope but he's a populist and will do things that attract single issue voters.
He is, but I thought he was an Arsenal board memberI think he is a City fan. Might be wrong.
