I agree. We didn't fold for UEFA when they tried a shake down. I don't think we would be railroaded into signing. I can't believe we didn't know thay Bayern and PSG weren't on board, either, but schadenfreude is a powerful motive.

You are missing my point. I don't support the super League but most success needs investment at every level. Leicester didn't do it on their gate money but their Thai owners. Fair play just don't believe they did on altruism. Look at County and Fylde for example.

Because we have a government who only see the PR benefits and really don’t care what they say or do as long as it benefits their image and standing.
After perpetrating the biggest fraud ever on the British public, fronted, coincidentally, by the biggest fraud in politics, the idea that they want to protect the little man, the ones with no power, from a group of super-wealthy people who want to make obscene profits by milking their position of power is frankly laughable.

My girlfriend is from Napoli and is a Napoli fan, I spoke with her father earlier who said Napoli would jump at the chance to join this and the owner has already spoken to people about joining, its inevitable that chairmen are going to want to do this, particularly as global interest in the domestic game is superseded by the SL.

This is a major issue, it's 15 for now but this will rise to 40 in a fully closed league and they will leave the domestic leagues and what then.
