why, what do you know nobody else does?

for all we know, city learnt of this on Friday and realised they could pull the entire bunch down from inside.
Yep and Pep was instructed to throw the Chelsea FA cup game in order to get them onboard. Oh and the sheikh doesn't actually exist, he's just one of many alias' of Thaksin who is doing it purely to finally get Phil Scolari here and back into the big time...

I've read a lot of QAnon and Trump stuff over the last few years. Looking at how delusional some people can be, what narratives they create in order to fit things neatly into their emotional understanding.

This "4D chess" thing is exactly that. City wanted to join the Super League and actually, the Mid Eastern oil shiekh owner didn't grow up with pictures of Trevor Francis in his wall. Neither are the executives political masterminds who can intricately plan every move and outcome like they're a genius in a badly written movie. They're just fallible men who want to raise the revenue of the business that they run.

I thought this would have smashed the fantasy world some live in with our owner. Instead it seems some are doubling down on fantasy instead of facing reality.

It was widely reported even before it was initially announced that we did not want to be in it. The mistake was that we we joined as we felt there was no other option, as soon as we realised we had allies in the same boat we have jumped. Would e we have done without all the fuss, that will never be known.

Those were due to our IT department being hacked. Nothing will happen, unless we give them reason like leaked emails.
What makes you sure there won't be a hacking attempt again? There's always something. The only positive is UEFA won't want to be on our bad side because of the court case thrown in their face and us still deciding to back out of Super League for their sake, to an extent.

Have you considered this could just about be the greatest boardroom coup of all time? We could have single-handedly brought about the demise of the G14 once and for all.
Yes, we got asked to be part of the ESL but we hold top level in-house board meetings even involving the Sheikh. We hatch the plan to bring it down, the whole shebang and to gain access to the G14’s thinking, their intelligence and their wish to fuck everybody over. We go to their clandestine meetings, we sit amongst the devious, conniving G14 - the same G14 who have tried to prevent us from breaking into their cartel since 2008. The plan is a simple one; Join it reluctantly, make sure everyone knows we join reluctantly, hide behind a statement by Joel Glazer on MCFC.co.uk. (City have never commented on it) and then.....Pull the rug from under their feet. Sit back and laugh as the shitty house of cards implodes on itself. It’s the first step in the demise of the debt-ridden Madrid, Barca etc and everyone now knows this was all MUFC, LFC and AFC’s idea. Let’s watch their clubs fall to pieces before our eyes. MCFC ok

I’m as delighted as most fans, that we have tried to distance ourselves from this, but if you’re trying to tell me that this was all a game of brinksmanship from our owners, then I find that laughable.

Tolm, you seemed to soften towards us entering this proposed shithouse “competition”, but now it was a masterstroke to create a more level field within UEFA?! Am I getting that right?
People make up all kinds of shit to appease their own mind. City fucked up big time and owe us all firstly an apology, secondly an explanation.

Can anybody tell me how Arsenal and Spurs were even involved in this? It's like arranging an orgy and inviting two old dinner ladies. When was the last time Sours won the league? Just after the Fall of the Roman Empire? Elite certainly has been downgraded with those two shower of useless cunts involved.

1 needing to pay off stadium debt and 1 run by an owner pushing for the whole thing, who wanted to be in Europe's big time where the money is despite not being good enough to be there.

Like you say; two useless cunts.

It is incredible what people will try and convince themselves. We still have owners who were prepared to destroy the history and traditions of the club.
Was they? How do you know that? How do you know that we was just stringing the red cunts along, reeling them in and then pulling the rug?
You obviously have no faith in our fantastic owners, they knew what they was doing, they didn't just jump on the gravy train blindly like the North London clubs did.
It's all about opinions at the end of the day but name me once where they've let us down in the last 13 years?
They wasn't about to toss it all off for a bit of green, these fellas are the Don.

I'm not so sure about that. If the ESL had simply replaced the CL, it wouldn't have destroyed anything (and it's been pointed out many times that the new CL format isn't a million miles from the ESL). Perhaps we signed up on that basis, but with the condition that if it looked like we'd get kicked out of everything else, we'd drop out (and that might be the legal basis for dropping out).
