This is gonna be a tough couple of games. Both Dortmund and Spurs yesterday managed to play around pur press and break the lines to a playmaker centrally. Neymar in those situations with Mbappe ready to launch will be very dangerous. They might have Veratti as well who will make them even more press resistant. We will get chances and we absolutely HAVE to take them.

Pretty sure in the history of sport losing has always been more difficult than drawing... might be overthinking it a tad here.
Yes I’m aware, I’m actually fairly surprised I’m having to explain why a draw is a better result than a loss to be honest.

Yep we can’t hope to go through if our finishing is of the same standard as it was on Sunday. An away goal or two is vital

Need to be ruthless which means a front 3 of Mahrez, KDB and Sterling.

Sterling, as improved as he was yesterday, still fluffed quite a few chances - just hangs on to the ball too long and fucks about with it.

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Laporte
Cancelo
Rodri
KDB
Bernardo
Mahrez

I’m glad I don’t pick the team. I think whoever we put out it will be a tough game but I think our confidence couldn’t be better and I fancy us for a narrow win

Cloning is without doubt Peps biggest achievement to date

It's going to be tough but we are more than capable of beating them. I don't think they are that good defensively and if we can be clinical then we can win. Bayern weren't really at full strengh but still had plenty of chances to beat them. Them hitting us on the break is what is going to be hard to stop, they look lethal at times.

Just need kdb in the back four and we're sorted.

I usually lean towards incompetence rather than corruption but those two legs were ridiculous. The Sane offside in the home leg still infuriates me to this day

We would have beaten Madrid in that final. Knowing Pep we might have gone out against Rome in the semis though haha
Yeah that offside in the 2nd leg plus his "offside" in the 1st leg and of course salah being 2 yards offside for the 1st goal...that tie was bent!

Does Pep go with Zinny or Cancelo at LB? It's a tough call. Cancelo as we saw yesterday, CAN be very impactful going forward but can also put the team in bad situations with his decision making. While Alex may be limited going forward, he's more steady and less prone to error, I'd say. But personally the proposition of Zinny vs Di Maria scares me more than him vs Cancelo.
Hope zinchy is in , he is a much better balance and i think he is underated

Bernardo has to start - his energy is going to be vital.

Rodri's ball retention equally as important.

Mahrez's confidence and ability to take it straight at their left back will be needed too. Same with Foden on the other flank.

I'm shitting myself at the thought of Mbappe and Neymar too so Walker's pace is a must as well.

I think Cancelo and Laporte played well yesterday and with PSG's pace i think Pep will stick with them. Plus i don't think Stones did himself any favours in the Villa game, we can't afford stupid mistakes at the back and we certainly need all 11 pllayers on the pitch.
