There will be tickets available, just how many? Europa League final ticket applications opened today on UEFA website.I'm taking nowt for granted tonight, we have the edge but an early goal for them will have the nerves jangling.
Should we finish the job I'd be astounded if the parties concerned are able to sort out all the issues in time for City supporters to attend - not trying to piss on anyone's chips, just the way I see it. (Hasn't stopped me booking a flight mind you - but money back if I don't travel)
For those hoping for a change of venue if it's us and Chelsea - dream on UEFA couldn't care less about supporters, and they have past with us as evidence (remember CSKA anyone)
Not doubting there will be tickets available, the concerns relate more to travel restrictions in both countries. There will be tickets available, just how many? Europa League final ticket applications opened today on UEFA website.
I get the feeling it will be amber but who are we to know? Not doubting there will be tickets available, the concerns relate more to travel restrictions in both countries.
Turkey will only just be coming out of a lock down, and the figures over there leave me with little confidence that the UK government will be moving them off the red list by the end of the month.
Just mho as it stands.

Buy or sell any tickets?Hello Blues,
Certainly not taking anything for granted, and all to play for on Tuesday night but SHOULD we progress to the Champions League Final in Istanbul and fans are allowed to travel we DO intend to operate charter flights and trips as usual.
We have decided to prepare for a positive outcome and are in talks with our trusted airline and hotel partners.
Currently we are working on preperations for both day return flights and overnight stays departing from Manchester and London.
If you would like to register your interest and receive notification of any updates please email info@sportandmusic.co.uk
Come on City.
All the best,
Spike
Get the EL final tickets you'll make a killing off one of the hypocritesA few years back I registered on the uefa site to be entered in to ballots for CL final tickets as there is a quota that are available over and above each clubs allocation (touch and go if I’d have enough points @ 16k).
Tonight I received a mail from uefa inviting me to apply for tickets via a ballot for the uefa EUROPA league final to be played in Poland. Yeah...like I’d even want one of those!
However, I have received no such mail from uefa regarding the champions league final in Istanbul 3 days later!
I can only draw two conclusions from this:
1. No fans attending ....apart from ‘the family’ or..
2.It may not take place as scheduled in Istanbul given the COVID situation?
Turkey comes out of lockdown on 17th, (thats if they don't prolong it) It's not going to go Amber immediately . British Government is not going to change it's stance because of a Football Match.oh 100% this could go anyway, anyway I think the most realistic outcome will be it being held in Istanbul still but with 9,000 - 12,000 fans so literally a few thousand tickets to each club,
It doesn’t need to change its stance. Turkey isn’t on the red list now. So almost certain to be amber when the list is announced this week.Turkey comes out of lockdown on 17th, (thats if they don't prolong it) It's not going to go Amber immediately . The demands to move it will fall on deaf ears. I think that the authorities are waiting to see what happens at the Bridge tonight before announcing their plans.Depending on the result tonight, UEFA will be under major pressure that it it's an all English final to move it to the UK. First, some fans would possibly be allowed to attend and secondly to alleviate foreign travel generally. Give it 24 hours and it may be clearer.
Er, didn't I already say that in the the bit you quote me in?The demands to move it will fall on deaf ears. I think that the authorities are waiting to see what happens at the Bridge tonight before announcing their plans.
Yeah, and I was saying I agreed with you.Er, didn't I already say that in the the bit you quote me in?
