Jack Grealish

I will give Grealish that. I can't argue against him backing his own ability and wanting to . Same with (eventually) Delph who was a lot cheaper squad signing at the time and coming from a similar point at his career. The only caveat is he has missed a chunk of the tail end of the season and that would be a problem if we are going for quadruple.

Why, does he miss a chunk of the tail end of the season every season?

My word has there ever been a player who has fluttered his eyelashes at a club as much as Grealish has towards City the last 12 months. haha.
Yeah, Me, back in the day playing in the Gorton League at Mellands fields. Never reciprocated though!! If only I’d had Twitter back then.

Where do people think Grealish would fit in at City. Left attacker in a front three or as an 8?

I think he is decent but cannot see him taking a place ahead of Phil on the left or KdB/Gundo/Bernado as an 8.

The only way in which I seem him joining is if Pep decides that playing without a conventional striker is going to be our preferred option next year or if one of our star players leave.

He can afford to at Villa - he can waltz back into their team at a time of his choosing. At City he'd have to fight hard and convince Pep before he got a start (after any lay off) - the City squad is the epitome of a meritocracy and Grealish would have to change his approach.

So going off that principle
Kev should of never played for the club again after being out nearly a season or Vinny after many injury breakdowns and we'd of never witnessed dont shoot Vinny
Its absolute rubbish for a player you obviously don't want but he's not exactly Roque Santa Cruz

On the left. As Foden bulks up he’ll be more effective through the middle. I don’t envisage anyone leaving this summer, save Aguero.

If he is being bought as a squad player to take off some the pressure of the key players, and keeping them fresh then it would be great if he stayed fit for crucial part of the season. If it is a shin problem then he would better off. Difference is Kev and Vinny have proved themselves at the club.
