Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

Also worth remembering they're trying to do both of these at the same time, must be a logistical nightmare, dealing with governing bodies, governments, health, and police authorities.
The issue clearly lies with UEFA/Portuguese Govt, given the fact neither City nor Chelsea have released.

However, an indication of points criteria would be nice.

My opinion is there will be no bubble, day trips and stay overs will be able to get tickets and bars will all be open, but there may be a curfew time. Deliberately stayed off this thread to avoid the flapping, didn’t realise it was still the same 5 days later.
No announcement of tickets and travel arrangements and you expected LESS flapping 5 days closer to the event?

Travel bubble
Day trip only
no alcohol zone
extortionate cost of tests
expensive flights
no bars open
indian variant
quarantine on return
heavy handed police
sray home
stay safe
dont bother going
and especially don’t apply for a ticket
Spot on. When you analyse this whole scenario as a series of fors and againsts, there is nobody of sound mind would let themselves be drawn into it. Strangely though, this forum is showing that most fans are like addicts, and when talking amongst each other, they almost feed off the frenzy and undertake the most ridiculous set of actions to ensure they get their fix.

Just for those that may be losing sight of perspective, it's on terrestrial TV, you can buy beer here, and best still you don't need any bloody Covid tests.

Booked your PCR for the flight out yet? ;)

My point being, its not just the CL they are dealing with, they're still sorting tickets for Sunday coming when we are presented with the PL title, so simply can't focus on the one event.

It's not as simple as a normal ticket issue in normal times, both games are exceptional circumstances, priority today is likely still on Sunday's game, whilst still negotiating with Portugal/UEFA/Portuguese Health department/Portuguese Police, on issue and distribution of tickets, and the logistics of getting people in and out of the stadium safely and quickly.

Remembering that only 7 days ago, all this was meant to happen in another City at the other side of Europe, that had all the preparations in place.

And, just like York, you can always claim to have been there ;)

ITV?

Don't worry, next year's final will be much easier to sort out with it being played deep into Russia

Sorry if this has been posted before (I've tried to look back over the last 10 pages)... if you need a PCR test 72 hours before flying back into Manchester and you're there for over 3 days (i.e. you can't just do one in the UK beforehand and use that) do we need to find a place over there to get a test?

Yes you need a lateral flow test in Portugal. Available from airport and also most chemists and a lot of supermarkets at around 30 Euros. Also need a pre booked Day 2 at home PCR test to show at immigration on return.

Beyond a joke at this point!

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since we qualified for the final. In that time it's moved from one side of the continent to the other. There's still no official trips, no tickets, nothing. All so Gazprom's marketing manager can have a piss up with his mates.
