Surely going out with the official club trips, getting your ticket but not getting the return flight would be the way to go in that case.Missing the point. No cost to book = no actual commitment to go.

Why would anyone do that?
I could see a scenario where those that have already booked jump on the official trip to get a ticket but then keep their hotel and fly back Sun/Mon on flights already booked.
With no flights to pay for they will also be snapped upYou'll be lucky if it gets that low. Maybe €600 tickets might lower it further.
He had me at UEFA.Agree with you 99%
bubbles and endless hand gel has no appeal to me
Wouldn’t get treated like this at Rugby or the tennis.
You just get me every time with the UEFA scum bit. :)

Probably. With the cost of testing and spends, it's still probably at £750 day out. With no flights to pay for they will also be snapped up
I’m in the same boat so I hope so too. Might do something similar to Brighton awayPraying city do something at the ground. As I've no chance of getting a ticket with my 8k points.
You'll need to be very careful doing that and using your own return flight, a lot of airlines will cancel the return flight if the outward flight isn't taken.....seen similar although obviously not footie related on daytime crap like Rip-Off Britain.Surely going out with the official club trips, getting your ticket but not getting the return flight would be the way to go in that case.
If you don’t take your scheduled flight out, you can’t use the associated return as the airline would cancel it as a no-show on the outbound.
Can’t see how. Portuguese government and fellow travellers will want to make sure everyone has negative test I guess? Will this bubble mean there will no requirement at all for tests?
If you booked a return flight. Nothing stopping people from just getting a one way from Portugal. You'll need to be very careful doing that and using your own return flight, a lot of airlines will cancel the return flight if the outward flight isn't taken.....seen similar although obviously not footie related on daytime crap like Rip-Off Britain.
Hmmmm say you went out with Ryanair back with Easyjet say?

Absolutely fully onboard with this. PM me and let’s set something up and get speaking to the relevant people. Sure BM will pin a post aswell. Drop me a message mate.City fans who are hoping to benefit from HHSM's generosity, I have an idea, hear me out.
I would have happily paid a few hundred £s for the day trip flights (That was my plan originally), I appreciate that everyone has their own stuff going on, but how good would it be if we created a go fund me page and donated money towards a good cause (thinking central manchester food bank, or some of the other worthy, local causes).
If I've just saved £400 that I would have spent on the flight, I'm more than happy to pay £100 towards a good cause. Would be a great gesture from us fans who are in the position to do so. Spread the love!
