jeez just reading some of the conspiracy theories from 4 people who are refusing the vaccines:

1/ Person Said everyone who has the vaccine will die in 10 years
2/ Person said that it's part of the great "reset" and population controlling
3/ Person said Bill Gates is to blame and the jabs contain microchips
4/ Person said that it's part of a global conspiracy to do with Aliens

Question is do we refuse NHS treatment and rights to these people?

This is what happens when mental health services are under-funded.

3 All settings deaths

2696 cases

74 hospital admissions

Oh and another day of minus numbers as they have found another 561 lateral flow tests results that never got made positive that need to be removed.

A lot less than yesterday so less impact.

Newport is an odd one for being high, I wonder why that is?

Surely as everybody is mixing more as places open up then cases will rise? Everybody knew that and the vaccine doesn't stop people catching it. The crux is the severity they catch it as in hospitalisations and deaths. If these aren't rising dramatically then there should be no need to panic. Of those ending up in hospital we need to know the percentage vaccinated as opposed to not vaccinated.

I would, yes.

Unfortunately North West has had almost no impact from the cases taken away today. It only seems to have reduced numbers in the south and midlands.

Far and away the highest region now. Up 59 on last Wednesday at 459. As you can see 183 of them in Bolton.

394 positive Scottish cases today

10 aged 65+
62 aged 45+

148 aged 25-44
171 aged 0-24

Two ways to look at these figures. On the face of it, it's really good news that the elderly age groups, being the most vulnerable, are in the extreme minority of these cases (so far, and long may it continue).

The other way is the rising amount of case numbers in younger folks will still probably lead to a minority of them requiring hospitalisation and potentially severe cases. As these case numbers rise so will the number of those severe ones. Hopefully a lot of these rising numbers are completely asymptomatic and found as part of surge testing. 194 of the cases are in the Glasgow and Clyde health board, but I've no idea how many of them would have been found otherwise.

It's why the 6k first doses of vaccine per day isn't great at all and again why I wonder if there should be a rethink on the distribution of AZ given the factor of the new variant which has came into play. The more we delay the more damage it could cause. That's just my opinion though, seems obvious to me but I appreciate its probably not as simple as that.

It is so easy to make up nonsense. Much harder to think about the facts
Ii disagree, there are so many obvious checks a brain can think of that discredit the conspiracies easily that it's harder to create the conspiracy. For Covid to be any kind of conspiracy every country in the world would have to be on board, every politac faction and every health system in those countries. Just think how hard it is to get 2 countries to agree never mind nearly 200.

You’d think the likes of the Brazilian PM would have also blown the lid on everyone’s dastardly plan, what with his views on it all.

In Greater Manchester most places up week to week. Only 3 boroughs did well today. Tameside - still best and very low again on 3 and Salford and Stockport on 8 and well down week to week. Possibly as they had cases taken off them again today as they were the two highest minus number yesterday.

Manchester up 13 week to week on 49.

GM is up 79 week to week - 72 of that rise from Bolton and Manchester.

The NW rise week to week was only 59 - so GM alone had more than the whole NW did.

Indeed at 71% of all the case in the NW today GM is setting records of the wrong kind.

Pre Bolton a couple of weeks back it was around 47%.

GM also had 15.2% of all the cases in England today. Much of that from Bolton of course.

I've just activated the myGP TICKet vaccination status feature. You get a green ✅ next your photo and it has your name, date of birth and date of your second vaccination. Interestingly, you are unable to take a screenshot of it for security reasons.

Looks really good.
Sites busy now

67 hospital admissions in Scotland over the course of the past week.

85+ - 0
75-84. - 2
65-74 - 7

45-64 - 24
25-44 - 28

Under 25 - 6

These figures get updated every Wednesday so I'll try and keep an eye on them over the next couple of weeks for perhaps any trends.

Apparently they spotted Bolton early through our brilliant system.

Um then why we were discussing it in here days before anyone out there?

If they knew they should have warned locals right away surely?
