Ref Watch

Disgraceful decisions and its not incompetence. end of.

Quite honestly I get the Cancelo one. He was clumsy and, whilst I don't agree with it, you could see why he was binned.

But 2, 3 and 4 are blatant and wrong beyond incompetence. The fix was in last night.

I hope we are fighting this.

I definitely believe the Brighton fans had an influence. Last minute, home side ahead, the crowd would have gone berserk if the ref' gives a penalty - Attwell bottled it. VAR probably saw him about to blow for the foul and "Suggested" he ignored it "For crowd safety reasons".
Attwell has been a Fifa referee since 2009. There is no way someone as experienced as him is going to get flustered by a Brighton crowd of 5,000. Plus there's no excuse on the penalty decision anyway. If he gives the penalty, it's not his fault, it's because of VAR.

Corruption is the only explanation.

It wasn't our turn to win the league this year, the refs and var officials have well and truly fucked up. Attwell,s performance is probably what we can expect to see next season. He will probably walk into there briefing room this morning, to a round of applause.
We’ll have this shit from the first game next season! Like the Tottenham game last season were we were fucked over with the disallowed goal right at the death

I've just read some rather uplifting news: Lee Mason is calling it a day. Fifteen years of barrel scraping decisions. For the good of football it's come fifteen years too late.

Edited: Apparently the barrel scraping continues until his oxygen runs out - more shit from the VAR shed.

In our game, the Chelsea game and the rags game last night there were SIX baffling decisions. The common thread in all of them is VAR not operating properly and helping refs make the right decision.

The on field calls in all cases were demonstrably wrong but they were left untouched. The whole system is utterly flawed and it’s not salvageable I’m afraid

now you could say that without VAR the decisions would have been the same. Totally true. But when the safety net doesn’t work and with the emotion of goals being taken away whilst it is in play it’s just not worth it

nothing will change though

Ive been watching football for 47 years and i have never subscribed to bent officiating.Believe me i have seen some awful officiating. I also like betting on football but after what i witnessed last night i am coming round to the idea that something was going on betting wise.It was so wrong.
Never a red
Gundogan foul?
Brightons 3rd did they look at off side.
Foul on Jesus
Foul on Foden
Bank accounts need checking id start with Atwell and Mosses families and associates.
Old school honeytrap with the threat of exposure and you have these officials by the bollix, then pay them off with cryptocurrency. Atwell looked very nervous last night, constantly hesitant and afraid to give us anything

Felt this right from the outset. They knew.

With the resources available to us we should be crawling all over this. Follow the money.
When the ref gave a foul against Stones on their keeper after their own player cleaned him out I knew what kind of game it was going to be. So did the Brighton players which is why they felt they could kick us up and down the field from first to last whistle.

Yep commentator desperately screaming no penalty great tackle when Jesus was wiped out also disgraceful. How is that acceptable commentary?
This begs the question: are the VAR officials listening or being influenced by the commentary?? That **** Neville with his "OOOOOH' that looks bad" any time it is us or Fernadhino with his "tactical fucking fouls".

He's not lol

"The Premier League have confirmed that Mason will become the league's first dedicated Video Assistant Referee (VAR) from the 2021-22 season."
I think this means that he doesn't have to run about the pitch. He's not been a match for Jonny Moss since the latter was fixed up with his oxygen cylinder - most refs have an aerosol for squirting out white lines.

It’s the same cheats who call same decisions for and against the same teams.

Atwell have one of the most corrupt performances I’ve seen last night and he was on Var and decided no penalty on Sterling v Chelsea.

Hooper who laughably allowed the Rags goal last night was also on Var when he denied Brighton a penalty v the Rags and in the same game gave the Rags a penalty after full time to win the game.

Moss is generally not fit for purpose but how he decided Jesus was not a penalty and how the studs up tackle on Gundog was not a red should have him removed from games,it was that bad.

For me, the club does not do enough to stop these sort of officiating performances. Can you imagine Ferguson’s interview if last night happened against him. As we are too well behaved, we give refs an easy option. shall I give a decision against Brighton which will have fans on my back or give it incorrectly v City as they won’t cause a fuss.
We need to call It out more
Asian betting syndicate probably has snaps of Atwell in Gimp suit!
