Grealish can be better than Sterling on the left imo. Not as much pace, but seeing how we play and attack slower at times he can keep the ball and create more with link up play to put balls into the box. He can do similarly to what Mahrez does on the right.

For Sterling he really needs help in someone playing the ball to him quickly and closer to the box for him to be effective. He's not at his best out wide and further away from goal. I think the way which we play in a slower fashion leads to him not being effective.

Even if we announce them on the official site you'll still have holdouts claiming we're not signing a striker as 'we don't play with one'. Presumably they'll think Kane or Haaland will be Ederson s backup 'because they're really tall'.
 
Grealish and ings would do me this summer and give Delap minutes. Levy will make Kane painful.

Maybe Txiki has already sorted out the first two deals, now he’s negotiating on getting the next two. Now that’d be a pretty decent transfer window!

The thing about rumors is that yes, some of them are simply made up, but there are others, if you know where to look, based on who’s reporting and what’s being pushed, considering a context, that do say something and you can read implicitly on what it means. For instance, that story the other day that “City has moved on to Kane because they think Haaland will cost too much”. Someone is pushing that and there is something being said and attempted between the lines. If you wanna swallow stuff like that at face value, then you’re correct, it will be just baseless and useless. But it can be of use if you’re not that stupid
 
If we were to sign Grealish and/or Kane, would it realistically be a player+cash-type transaction? I.e. would Sterling or Jesus be going the other way?
