Sky would have actively encouraged it, also the PL, not because they were looking after football but because they wanted to ensure maximum exposure to kill off any future rivalry to their own brand. In short, they were all in it together because it’s all about the money.

I've just been reading a piece from the Football Supporters Association about pushing Parliament to debate football ownership and 50+1 describing 'a coalition of ex-players, pundits and media figures' (no mention of media companies themselves) and calls on fans to petition for a debate in Parliament.
It describes Neville rather heroically as' former Manchester United defender Gary Neville' and says he is supported by former players Carragher, Ferdinand, Fletcher, Lineker, Redknapp and Micah. I am sure there is a more recent connection l just can't quite remember.

Ratface acknowledges people think he is a twat (my words) in a politicians insincere self deprecating way as he urges fans to listen to him just this one time and sign the petition to 'bring in independent regulation and transparency at the top of the game we all love.
Hurrah for good old Gary!

Where do these people think that giving control to fans will help. How will fans find the billions to buy out the owners, good and bad. To pay for world class players that attract tv audiences and even to pay for repairs and rodent control at Old Trafford? As if these rich men would just give up their investments and hand them over to people like that rag from MUST who has not been to a match for 16 years.
I thought the FSA had more sense but but when they started clamouring for Ratface the Penalty Man to be POTY l started to wonder. As evidence of fan ownership working they give examples of clubs one in the fifth tier and one in the sixth. Perhaps Neville will persuade his employers to cover their games.

The face of fan interaction and ownership, should be anybody but Neville. Salford City came bottom (or bottom 5 iirc) of fan-club interaction polling.

if the ‘United Lite‘ team management structure can’t get their fan interaction and engagement correct, then Neville hasnt got a leg to stand on pontificating about United.

it never was a problem for him prior to the Moyseiah aftermath.

He could easily have left United at any point from 2005 onwards, if it meant that much to him.

it’s funny how principles only come to the fore when you’re not winning…

I signed the petition without understanding what it was really about and now, knowing who was actually behind it, I shouldn’t have bothered. When you realise that the likes of Neville, Carragher, Fletcher, et al, all have a stake in other areas of football (Salford City, Sky, United, Liverpool) then you wonder what this ‘Independent’ regulator will be made up of.

Yes. Whoever and whatever he is perhaps he will have been approved by the rags snd dippers like the PL CEO, something that is not mentioned much despite it's significance. I still can't find out where my favourite 'Match Commander' became a necessity albeit a very secretive one.
When l saw the list of pundits my first reaction was that they all work for Sky or BT except for Lineker but of course he pimps himself out to the satellite people as well.

Yay let’s all move to the German model and have the English rags rather than the German rags win it 10 years running. Doubt they ratboy will be making the same noises then. **** of epic proportions who couldn’t give a rats arse about the good of the game.

This is the German model of 50+1 in action and the result of that system.

It's a fair league, it's obvious to everyone who it's bloody fair to, the German rags.

When someone shows or tells you who they really are, then look and listen

Kliperty moaning, why give any credence to this? "If its and buts were pots and pans, there'd be no need for tinkers", or if my aunty had balls she'd be my uncle:

I think the biggest factor in Liverpool's performances this season has been the constant moaning from Klopp. He has been negative all season and this has transmitted to his players. If you tell players they are tired and victims of injuries then it affects how they perform on the field. Great managers lead from the front and do not show any sign of weakness. Klopp has fallen short this season in two areas: motivation of the team and tactical innovation (He has no plan B)

Just read the GPC saying to Rat boy in a interview that if he'd brought Park on at half time they'd have beaten Barcelona in the 2011 champions league final. I shit you not he must believe it !!! Sorry sir Alex you were ripped up for arse paper that night, it wouldn't matter what you did you were beaten out of sight by a much better team. Barca coasted and played the last twenty minutes in second gear, you'll be saying you should have won the sick swan next, you sad deluded old man.

Wow, the greatest Premier League Manager ever spoon-feeds the knuckle-draggers wallowing in his Team's misfortune and self pity whilst Pep launches a charitable organisation in memory of his late mum.

Sometimes I feel a little sympathy for Anfield Teeth as he's bound to have realised he's so many levels below Pep in terms of Management and class. That sympathy doesn't last long though - gone as soon as the "woe-is-me" pish starts.
