Haaland's age and potential, ridiculous goal scoring at this age, AND his connection to City makes him the better choice.

Kane is probably better at dropping deep and play making, but Haaland is still the better choice.

If I think of it in terms of a "feeling" or "connection", the fans will love Haaland way more than Kane I think, and I hope the club take that into consideration.

Haaland is going to be the next Messi/Ronaldo level 50-60 goals a season player and if he goes somewhere else we will suffer because of it.

You are correct in that if we have ambitions of winning the UCL repeatedly, him and Mbappe, but probably even more him, are 100% the perfect match. The top stars in the clubs at the right time make it much easier. The way Ronaldo won it five times and Messi won it four times. But especially the way Ronaldo just fit in so perfectly at Madrid, is the best comparison here. And letting him go somewhere else will likely cost not winning the UCL a few years. The decision is probably one of ambition

Totally agree. One of the best at his age I have ever seen. In terms of transfer fees he is priceless. Under Pep he would become the best player in the world...and stay at that level for a decade. We should just pay Dortmund's asking price no matter how high it is.

Harry Kane is absolutely fantastic player, he has a proven record in PL , experience, leadership. He can easily score 30 goals in the league with our team. But Haaland makes a lot more sense for so many reasons. He is one of the best players in the world, he scores for fun, he is so fast, strong, he has the connection to City and perhaps most importantly he is only 20 years old which means he can serve us for at least a decade and even if he want to move we can still get a lot of money for him by selling. I don't think Haaland is a better player than Kane, at least not right now, but I do think signing Haaland will be a much, much better and more lucrative deal than Kane's. From any point of view I'm examining it I can only come to the same conclusion which Haaland just does not want to come here or that he demands way way too much money. Otherwise it makes no sense for us to go for Kane. Kane will not be sold for less than 100 million, if we are willing to offer it we will also be willing to pay Dortmund what they want so as not to lose him next year at a low price. I just think Haaland is not even an option anymore and I would really be disappointed if that's the story.

And nobody else is going to pay it. I don't understand the need to rush for a striker this summer. We are still good with Jesus, Ferran and the false 9 options. It's worth waiting for Haaland for a season.

Never underestimate Spanish """"Giants"""" Capability to do one over another. They will beg get loans break all ffp rules and still go unhurt. If Real Madrid sign Mbappe, you bet Barcelona will go for Haaland in 2022 to reneew who is the best rivalry in form of Halland and Mbappe. They can let both Aguero and Messi go next season
