Harry Kane

Cant see a deal without player swaps tbh, just dont think we'll pay that much cash based on recent precedent. maybe something like 90 mil in cash plus Jesus and Ake. I reckon sterling is worth a bit more so much you could do sterling plus 40 mil. Not sure if raz would want to go to spurs tho lol.

He'll do well persuading a manager to take over a squad which is already in need of something new without some form of investment. They're in debt already with the stadium and loans so getting a massive sum for Kane works out well for him.

Someone like Eddie Howe would walk into Spuds even without a lot of budget.

Howe also worked at a level of budget Levy would like
 
We didn't use Ake much, but we'll still need him. Only reason his game time was limited is due to lack of significant injuries.

You sell Ake with no replacement and get 1 or 2 of your main centre halves down like last season, then watch this place blow up. That's exactly what he was bought for.
 
Another day another spurs managerial rumour, this time apparently they are after conte. He would be some appointment if they managed to pull that off and could potentially tempt Kane to stick around for a while longer given comte’s impressive track record.

Wish they would hurry up and appoint someone as cant see levy selling without a manager (Not that we would buy anyone before Saturday mind)

Funny isn't it.....that so many blues think that we have so many players that "aren't good enough" for us or could easily be upgraded (Stones/zinchenko/cancelo/Rodri/Ake/Gundogan/Mahrez/Sterling/Jesus) off top of my head over last 2 seasons......I know plenty of Spurs fans down here and they would all drive Son to Manchester in a straight swap for any one of the above.
The reason I rarely rate names linked with us (to quote a poster) is because we have extremely good players and outside top players they would not improve us........FFS according to this forum we would be better with at least a dozen players from bottom half clubs!!

Ps......where were all these posters begging to buy Lakaku went he left utd????? Just asking ;)

You only have to read the spurs forum to see what they think about son. Most say he only turns up for 5 games a season and he was awful for large parts of last season. Some rate him so highly on here as he always seems to score against us but if you watch a lot of spurs it’s easy to see why he frustrates them.

This surprises me. I thought he was idolised by their fans.

I still think he’d bury lots of the chances that fall the way of Jesus and Sterling but perhaps I’m guilty of only focusing on his good performances. Though 17 goals and 11 assists does represent a very impressive season - at least on paper.

My brother is a spurs fan so I always keep a close eye out for their results watch them etc. Son is very much a ‘match of the day’ type player

Had quick check...Sons goals per game and shooting accuracy are both inferior to Jesus.
Could you please say why you think he would bury lots of the chances Jesus misses?

He’s always struck me as very clinical when through one-on-one. But as a previously poster alluded to, he might be a ‘MOTD’ type player whereby he appears better than he truly is.
 
It's not really 'news' but I've just interviewed someone for the podcast who is close to Charlie Kane (don't ask I'm not naming them but if you follow the pod you'll eventually figure it out when the pod drops).

He says Harry will only move to City. The only question is whether we can convince Levy to sell at a price we're happy with.
