somehow I don't think you are going to get 2 of the best 5 forwards in the league for your 2 backup forwardsSon and Kane for Jesus and Sterling, plus £20m
Son.... never was / isn't and never will be close to Sterling or Jesus lolsomehow I don't think you are going to get 2 of the best 5 forwards in the league for your 2 backup forwards
what are you talking about? son has 17 goals and 10 assists this season - he is 3rd on goals for forwards and 2nd on assists for forwards (kane is 1st for both, btw).. of course he's top 5 forwards in the league!Son.... never was / isn't and never will be close to Sterling or Jesus lol
Son in top five forwards?....doubt you'd find a spuds fan that puts him anywhere near top 15!
Are we talking about the same Son? Cracking player, I'd have him here tomorrow.Son.... never was / isn't and never will be close to Sterling or Jesus lol

The offer: Forward Gabriel Jesus, centre-back Aymeric Laporte, one young prospect (perhaps either forward Liam Delap, midfielder Adrian Bernabe or winger/wing-back Luke Bolton) and between £15m and £25m

Thoughts? Sorry if already posted...
Just my opinion mate. Spurs are in a very difficult situation. They will want to attract a top manager and that would be difficult without promising him to keep Kane. Kane may be objectively more valuable to them than, say, 130m. Yes, they have debt, but Kane is their hope they can somehow return to the CL. They are f*cked without CL money in the long run. Hope I'm wrong though and we sign Kane soon after the CL final. Why, what do you know?
Son is a fantastic player.Son.... never was / isn't and never will be close to Sterling or Jesus lol

AbsolutelyAbsolutely agreed. I think he'd be magic in our team.
Probably a good fit personality wise too.Absolutely agreed. I think he'd be magic in our team.
Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think a deal for Kane is close. Don't think Levy is ready to sell for an acceptable fee. It will be very, very difficult. Those expecting the deal to go through soon after the CL final will be left disappointed.

I understand that Levy is a difficult chairman to deal with but he would be making a mistake if he hangs on to a Harry Kane who no longer wants to be there and who's transfer value will reduce after a short while.Levy makes De Laurentiis look reasonable no way Kane is leaving Spurs without a ridiculous fee bring paid despite their enormous debts, reported to be £1.17bn.
Pandemic affected revenues mean clubs don’t have the cash to make it happen so the realist in me has Kane to be a Spurs player at the start of next season.
That said realism and football are not words you see together too often
If Levy excepts that he will lose Kane this summer then its in his interest to get the deal done asap so that he can get in his replacement/s.Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think a deal for Kane is close. Son is an excellent player. I think most would consider him to be one of the best players in the league in his respective position. I wish Sterling and Jesus could finish like him.Son.... never was / isn't and never will be close to Sterling or Jesus lol

We can only guess. There are so many factors in play.Interesting point. Would a new manager prefer Kane to have been sold before they join so they aren't associated with that decision and can just focus on the rebuild?
