Your most personally moving moment in sports history (apart from City)

I remember watching the disabled Olympics, some guy in the archery, had NO ARMS, used his toes ! that, for me, will never be beaten .

That player who broke his leg in the FA Cup final. Must have been absolutely devastating and I'm guessing he hasn't got over the trauma of it yet, otherwise he would have mentioned it by now...

Watching 2 of my nephews play in the challenge cup final at the millennium stadium Cardiff in 2004.One playing for st helens the other for wigan, it was a win win for the family that day.

Danny and Paul ? wigan were coached by the great man Mike Gregory R.I.P. if my brain cell has functioned correctly.

1960 FA Cup Final Wolves v Blackburn
Dave Whelan going in for a challenge and breaks his leg, don’t think this has ever been mentioned anywhere.

Mine is a really weird one. The Horse of the Year Show back in the late 1970s (I was a pony loving 13 year old girl so forgive me).
A little known horse named Chainbridge did the unthinkable and scooped the major prize.
That and Red Rum winning The Grand National for the third time. Always REALLY gets to me that one.

There are a few moments in your life when you hear about a public figure dying, and you can remember exactly where you were and what you were doing. Kennedy was one, for me. John Lennon was another.
And the third was hearing on the radio that Ayrton Senna had been killed at Imola. I was personally devastated. And I'm not even a particularly big Formula 1 fan. It seemed impossible that this man who was such a genius in his field had been killed doing what he was so good at doing.

Murray winning Wimbledon.
Freddie Flintoff comforting Brett Lee
Seb Coe the most natural runner I have ever seen
Any Scottish Grand Slam.

Yeah. That was a horrible weekend. I couldn't believe it. I usually watched every F1 at that time (even staying awake until about 4am to watch some of them that weren't in our time zone) but somehow I missed that one. Glad I did now, because Senna dying was unbelievable and pretty horrific.
