Pep got us here to the final but overthinking was his downfall. Chelsea fully deserve this win. They didn’t allow us any space, think it’s harsh to accuse players of not turning up but with a change if tactics we’ve seen the players are unable to adapt in previous games.

Like I’ve mentioned, pep got us to the final with a winning formula but as soon as the finals arrived he’s gone against it. Baffling.

Exactly. Doubt he would have lasted the 90 mins, and that's if he didn't get red carded. Guaranteed booking every game means he's got to be careful from then on. Gundogan was booked so he had to be careful, these little things can make a difference but seem to go over everyone's head. Not enough credit given to their defence which were excellent on the night, peeps don't want to admit that but it was there for all to see.

Shockingly predictable. Pep. Inexplicable selection of Sterling as a starter when his form has been dreadful for the entire second half of the season - yet Pep picked him ahead of Jesus. Pep's team choices in the last month are mystifying. Ferna on the bench? Start him and Gundog plays further up the pitch and better. Chelsea were by far the better side tonight, and most of our players went missing in action. Hard to take, but one shot on target over 100 minutes shows how effectively TT set up his side to smother City's natural game. Gave them far too much time and space on the ball, and they closed us down so quickly. That's the way to contain our creativity. Sadly though, City were beaten before a ball was kicked. Play your best side Pep - Sterling doesn't make that 11. Defeat always hurts, but it's even more bitter when it's partially self-inflicted. Letting Chelsea beat us twice on the last 6 weeks was setting the table for tonight.
