Just popped up on my phone, saying isolate for next 6 days, I was in flight 10 but still not had my day 2 test result back yet.

My son ordered and paid for his home test kit from Recova-19 he is still waiting for it to arrive, done his own lateral flow test and is negative. He has heard that somebody on his flight.3 has tested positive but not been contacted by Track & Trace yet.

Is that the MCFC flight 3 or the Sport Options flight 3?

Just had my Day 2 test results back from Alpha, apparently I'm
78% Spaniel
18% Chihuahua and
4% Shih Tzu

I'm wondering if I put it in the wrong drop off box

1600 people die a day in this country unfortunately. I don’t think we should put our lives on hold indefinitely for something that will be around long term. Soon more people will be dying on the roads soon should we take cars off the roads? That’s before we get into all the illnesses that kill far more people but treatment is now badly lagging behind on due to COVID.

All completely irrelevant in respect of someone being asked to self-isolate

Right If I remember correctly 10 out and 40 back so closeish. I have had 2 Pfizers and as far as was possible observed the mask and distancing rules, yeah right on the plane! I am feeling absolutely fine and my negative came yesterday from Alpha BioLabs. Supposed to be having a lunchtime meet today and tbh if I hadn't read this thread would have gone ahead without a thought. Not sure what to do now, don't want to put my pal at risk

Could you get a lateral flow test from anywhere? Might put your mind at rest?

me neither. i havnt had my day-2 test results either though the tracking shows the test has arrived at the lab so should get them today/tomorrow

What I genuinely don't get is everyone on these 'club' flights had a negative test on Thursday/Friday.
Then travelled back with the same group and now some have come back positive.
Don't think any of those out there were out and about (excluding the ground) for more than 6 hours!
I know it takes 15 mins contact time but that's pretty unfortunate if that's happened!

Test Thursday then another 5 days later, and could have been doing anything for 5 days between tests only 1 in Portugal.

The bus from the fanzone to the stadium could be caught by anyone and were like a tram from town on match day, only everyone had been drinking 6 hours.

We were on Sport Options flight 1 and have both just had the message to self-isolate until 8 June via the NHS Test & Trace app, although we both have had our own Day 2 test results back as negative. We were on row 21 on the plane if that matters. No phone call as yet but am sure it's coming.

My son said that it was farcical on the flights with the cabin crew walking up and down telling people to wear their face masks and cover their noses. Then they brought out the food and everybody removed their masks to eat when that service was over the cabin crew were doing the mask ritual again. Then out comes the drinks trolley and every ones masks were removed yet again.

The Jet2 staff were only doing their jobs but on a 2.5 hour flight most people would have only worn their masks for 50% of the time. As everybody was negative prior to flying it all seemed pointless.
