No, their maker can judge them if they’ve simply decided not to have the vaccine and are in the “at risk” group. Why should anyone empathise with those selfish bastards?

As stated, many don't necessarily have a choice or are incapable in making rational decisions.

Just smiling as the national news just annouced what I posted on here days ago and was accused of having something against Stockport for saying. I said it was in trouble because it was rising much bigger than others and expectations and those 5 day old figures have just worked thriugh and been presented nationally.

Happily it has not got any worse since then. It has flattened much like Bolton did.

That is next weeks news.

Pity these numbers are no use for the lottery.

can’t tell how serious you are.
but honestly , life will go back to norm soon enough.
Everyone is different mate.
The impact of this on single people who don't have a support network around has been very severe.
Not everyone is lucky enough to be married or be in a relationship to get through this.
We live in a very selfish society.

How do you stop it spreading through schools. The Greater Manchester data shows that that is where the spread is taking place so you can vaccinate as many adults as you like but it wont make much difference. It will spread until it burns out.

Never got the time today to give the N Ireland data. But it was good again.

81 cases and 0 deaths and now down to 1 care home infection. It was 150 a few months ago.

Patients down to 15 and zero still on ventilators. Also now none even in icu.

Age ranges 0 - 19 (33.8%) 20 - 39 (42.6%) 40 - 59 (17.6%) 60 - 79 (4.9%) 80 PLUS (1.1%)

As you see 76,4% under 40 and only 6% over 60.

These numbers have just kept on getting wider apart.

The vaccine is why.

More like the differential effect of the vaccine between two different variants and the ability of this new variant to spread in younger age groups who have hitherto been relatively untouched.

Adding N Ireland and Wales together they had 103 cases today. In their combined population.

Which is 20 times the population of Stockport.

Which today has 102 cases.

Stockport recall has the best vaccinated numbers in GM right now.

And nearly all its cases are in the same three quarters as in N Ireland

Why so far hospital numbers and deaths in Stockport are not rising.

Get yourself on the dating apps fella, there's fucking loads of birds out there. It's never been easier to get chatting to people and meeting people. Whether that's romantically or platonically.

You need to spell that last line out for it to make sense. Why is one strain crashing and the other growing?

Differential effect of vaccine on two strains and the ability of the latest strain to spread in age groups which have hitherto been largely untouched.

If this strain gets established anywhere, that's it. If it gets into Northerm Ireland then it will spread there too.

N Ireland and Wales combined have 42 people in hospital and 3 on ventilators.

Stockport has 0 admissions today, 2 in hospital and 1 on a ventilator.

As you can see new variant or not so far Stockport's much lower population is seeing parity with cases between the two nations but a big difference in the number in hospital.

In fact almost exactly the number you would expect from the population difference.

Some of them may have mental health problems. Some may have learning difficulties and refuse to receive it. Some have had their mind poisoned by others and do not have the mental capacity to make a judgement on their own. There will be some who are told by their partners they cannot have the jab. Some partners may not even allow their wives to have any contact with health services. Some may have an issue with medicine having had a particularly bad experience and are mentally scarred by it.

Why do you think non-white British are less likely to be vaccinated? People of different ethnic groups are more likely to be 'cunts' than others?

The situation isn't quite as black and white as you make out.
No doubt some of the scenarios you outline exist but a huge number are simply idiots who believe shite posted on Facebook etc from attention seekers rather than the medical professionals. Certainly plenty marching through the streets over the last few months worshipping at the feet of Piers Corbyn , bet they trust the doctors and nurses when gasping for air in ICU .

I've had loads of dates, few relationships
They never work for me sadly. I probably have to much going on and that puts them off, I wouldn't go out with myself.
I'm 45 and too old now I think.

Cases across the regions:

Change in last 24 hrs V seven days ago

SOUTH

East Down 8 to 313 V 160 -

London Up 172 to 773 V 384 - doubled wk to wk

South East down 85 to 460 V 345 -

South West UP 60 to 262 V 88 - tripled again here week to week on the Dawlish in the sun beaches

South starting to show early signs of going into a pre NW escalation phase. London cases notably up but still 1000 behind NW. I suspect not for long.

MIDLANDS

East UP 13 to 311 V 140

West UP 39 to 400 V 195

Numbers doubling wk to wk here too

NORTH

North East UP 32 to 242 V 78 - more than tripled here in the week

Yorkshire DOWN 16 to 541 V 291 - even here doubled week to week

AND

NORTH WEST UP 167 to 1840 V 780 - Up biggest yet wk to wk

Nothing much to note one way or the other here. But at least the last 5 days up to today have been quite flat - as numbers are 1643 - 1755 - 1752 - 1605 - 1673 - 1840

The equivalent numbers a week ago were 1025 - 1251 - 781 - 935 - 1038 - 780

Hard to call what this means. If anything. But it was a huge jump today.

Shove the vaccine. Third shots needed, fourth soon. Never ending! Here’s an idea, take vitamin D and roll with it

Full GM details:

Total cases 825 - down 2 on Yesterday - which is good as NW rose by 68 on the day

Wk to wk up 194 of the NW rise of 635 - well under the expected 50%.

So GM not rising as fast as some areas in NW are week to week. So good day here.

BOROUGH / CASES TODAY / V YESTERDAY / V LAST WEEK

BOLTON 127 / UP 13 / UP 29

BURY 50 / DOWN 9 / UP 8

MANCHESTER 214 / UP 41 / UP 117

OLDHAM 76 / UP 32 / UP 58

ROCHDALE 68 / UP 17 / UP 46

SALFORD 117 / UP 40 / UP 83

STOCKPORT 102 / UP 5 / UP 55

TAMESIDE 51 / DOWN 7 / UP 36

TRAFFORD 56 / DOWN 9 / UP 38

WIGAN 89 / UP 2 / UP 61

Apart from a pretty poor day for Salford and Manchester with biggest rises both day to day and week to week the rest of the area did fairly good today. Stockport even hinting at stability. High as it is.

Shock to see Bury posting the best data today.

Though 50 as the lowest GM scofre is a sign of the times.

Greater Manchester

Weekly total cases:-

Tameside 282, Oldham 299, Rochdale 375, Bury 393, Trafford 413, Wigan 601, Stockport 641, Salford 695, Bolton 933, Manchester 1372.

Manchester which is not surprisingly nearly always top scorer given its size is now pulling well clear. Bolton still easily in second but Salford and Stockport closing in. With Wigan in the 600s now too.

We now have to await some sign others can turn things around like Bolton has. Though Bolton's fall has stalled lately too.

Nobody now left below 200 either when only Manchester and Bolton were over there two weeks ago. And we may have none below 300 by tomorrow!
