Includes you I suppose?Typical. Echo chamber cult. I’ve put the hard yards in as a fan and am entitled to praise and criticise
This isn’t Pep FC is it. He’s paid big money to make big calls and when he fucks
Should have started Sergio v Chelsea in the CL. Best striker at the club, talisman and probably the most fired up for the game.
Should have started Ferna v Chelsea. Defensive rock, club captain and leader.
All major major fuck ups.
You can’t prove the counter factual in sport, but Im not being wise in handsight all this was obvious eat the time.
The trouble with forums is that it’s members are often reluctant to listen to views that differ from their own.
If you’re not happy to vocally criticise people for stupid mistakes that cost the club very dearly and could have been avoided then that’s your look out.
Pep is great, he’s a hugely successful manager for us. But he’s made some terrible decisions too and nobody seems bothered, or bothered enough to ask why?
My view is that it’s not enough for him to win by playing his best team, but that he has a need to add a personal dimension to the equation.
Now you’re really sounding sad. Thought we had a great season myselfNot as many as we could have done.
Who are fuck are you? Didn’t realise I had to serve 10 years worshipping Pep before I could have an opinion.
All our players have been treated well - despite a the fact we’re a successful football club & have to take tough decisions to win things. Which is why you’re not a manager. Fans aren’t able to make objective decisions.
As for Kun - he was always carrying an injury - only sub for Argentina even now
You make a good point that Kim May have been carrying an injury, but he looked sharp against Everton. He should have come on instead of Jesus IMO (Id have started Sergio).Includes you I suppose?

Fern is a great player but he has played against Chelsea and looked vulnerable. He is not a panacea against every opponent, great though he is.Typical. Echo chamber cult. I’ve put the hard yards in as a fan and am entitled to praise and criticise as I see it.
This isn’t Pep FC is it. He’s paid big money to make big calls and when he fucks it up royally (Lyon, Chelsea x 2 etc.) deserves calling out for it.
Should have started Silva v Lyon - best midfield player at the club.

But more than Mancini's 2 out of a possible 15 major comps though? Not as many as we could have done.

I was told, by someone reliable, that Sergio had a very limited time at the top because of damage to his knees. This was three years ago and subsequent appearances have borne that out. Utterly brilliant but coming to an end.
Bore off.
I disagree, but that's fine.Absolutely agree with using sparingly. The CL final was a game they both should have started though (IMO).
Fucking hell is this available in summary format? Sorry but yawnTypical. Echo chamber cult. I’ve put the hard yards in as a fan and am entitled to praise and criticise as I see it.

We had a really good season, but tossing the FA Cup and CL in the manner we did. Why would you be happy about that?
I think everyone agrees that Fern should've played and only Pep knows why. As for Sergio, despite that fact that he maybe have been carrying a niggle don't you think playing him causes us to change our system. Perhaps Torres may have been a better choice.... I dunno it's all ifs and buts isn't it ? We all love to be managers on our sofas and bars and think we know best. All I know is we were below par and Chelsea were brilliant and deservedly won.Absolutely agree with using sparingly. The CL final was a game they both should have started though (IMO).
I would go with that vs Chelsea.I reckon you’re wrong.
He would get considerably less time and space to operate as a DM, and the strengths of Rodri & Ferna are absent Stones’ game.
He is a natural right sided central defender and best suited there.
Personally I’d like to see us play a back 3 of Stones - Dias - Laporte, with Ake and THB as the left & right (respectively) back ups to that line up.
With Walker down the right and A.N. Other down the left, one DMs (Rodri/Ferna), and 3 AMs (KDB-IG-PF) in behind a new focal point striker, I think we would be much more solid defensively, because we look most suspect with runs through the FB-CB channel, with our own FBs able to roam up and down the wings.
It wo g happen with Mahrez, Sterling, Bernardo and Torres, but it should on occasion!
Just wish to say, I believe you are Blue.. when I started posting, and a few other new guys on here who PMd me almost felt unwelcome. The truth is this.It is almost like being in the army. You have to earn your stripes.Be calm, post sensibly, and in time people will accept you.A newish poster with contentious arguments will always be regarded with doubt. Dont take it personally and dont be aggressive.Typical. Echo chamber cult. I’ve put the hard yards in as a fan and am entitled to praise and criticise as I see it.

Can we transfer Angry AndyPandy68 to Barca please? Just on a free please. But more than Mancini's 2 out of a possible 15 major comps though?

Give it a rest mate.Dave got just six mins in the worse game we had under Pep. The team needed him. It was his last appearance in a blue shirt.
Same story for Sergio in an even worse performance. Not starting him was bad enough, to bring on Jesus before him was ridiculous.
Baffling selections. Piss poor treatment.
Nothing to do with testimonials or statues.
