Seasoncard - 2021/22

Just had my call from the club which I appreciate. There will be no possibility that in the event a season card holder cannot attend a match then they will NOT be allowed to transfer their card even if they notify the club. Govt regulations will not allow this.
Are these new Government regulations under Covid and I thought the club told @Prestwich_Blue that they can transfer their ticket plus didn't someone else read it in the rules and regulations? Or am I getting confused with all the conflicting answers in the thread?

Interesting one this Tolmie - I tried the same thing out of interest.

I'm currently assuming, as I've deferred, that I have to wait for Cityzens to purchase before I can.

It's a wait and see I guess currently

Would not have a problem paying the £35, just keen to know before City start putting tickets up for sale in next few weeks for the season.

I was told that government rules state that the name on the season card must match the ID that the supporter brings and that the club would be unable to process any change of details per match.

Round and round the houses.

Surely it’s bollocks, as has been said, what about people who share a ticket and also people who buy one for business to take a client?

Course it's bollocks.

Kids don't have ID, let alone government ID.
Some adults don't have official government ID.
Security can't check everyone's ID.
Security can't tell fake ID from real ID.

Hoping that's for the Covid rules but I suppose they could say it's also for security reasons. If it gets too complicated it could affect attendances.

Amazing. Never thought of that. But as I said you won't be able to do that next season according to the club or are you suggesting we ignore Covid protocol.?

There is nothing in the season ticket T&Cs about photo ID and there is provision for some one else using a ticket - card, mobile included - so long as you tell the club of that person's details.

The measures for Everton were government led and to do with track and trace. These do not feature in the T&Cs so either they'll be changed again or the person on the phone was doing their best but clearly giving out a mixed message.

It's Covid regulations. Once everything is back to normal then the normal rules will apply and the club are planning for tickets being shared more easily.
