Jack Grealish

You’re so right on this. Palmer is a similar player, albeit unproven. We should be working out how we can integrate him into the team rather than waste £100m on Grealish. At some point we’ve got curtail the spending and give some of the academy lads some hope.
I think thats the point of spending though isnt it? We're buying the ready made player rather than spending two season bedding in a player.

I dont understand this rush to get youth players into the team. They can still learn from the likes of Silva and KDB until they're actually ready to be major part of the team. It does work, and I'd say the way Phil has not been rushed into things is the way forward.

A relation of Tony, former City legend?
Hey TH

That Pearce bloke who is a Villa Journo I think is of the opinion that Grealsih could also be using our interest to get a better contract and that Villa are determined to keep him and build a team around him (all cliches I know)

What do you reckon?

Honesty if you have a spare 10 mins just sit back and watch this. Not even exaggerating there is only one person I could watch who leaves me with that many ‘how did he just do that’ and that’s Messi.

His close control is super human like, he’s got the lot, eye for a pass, decent enough pace, top drawer strength, great finishing. The boy is a superstar and within a few weeks he’d have every doubter drooling over him.

So hope we get this over the line

And When he turns it down, they can say we did all we could to try to keep him.
well if he has 4 yeras left on that contrat they really could just dig in and keep him if they wished.

Isnt Grealsih a Villa supported. - would he really want to tarnish his image by kicking up fuss/forcing a move and risk that.
It would be the same as Foden doing it to us to to to someone like Barca, Madrid, Bayern etc - imagine the reaction on here!!!!!!!!!!!

if we was building a new team then i could understand jack-grealish move. but we have very good world class players in that role already. so we can bring in cole palmer into the setup without spending £100milion

cole palmer is promising and looked the part in the youth setup and is ready for a step up in mixing with the first team sqaud and pushing for games. even if he does not break through this season just being around the team will give him the experience

does jack-grealish demand a place in the city team over foden or KDB ? the only bonus things is he is left footed so knowing pep jack-grealish could be our new left back

Foden is winning league titles and playing in champions league finals, Grealish is doing fuck all with Villa

Foden has already won a load of trophies, so has no need to move. If grealish is motivated by winning trophies he will need to move, because he isn't winning them at Villa.
