Terrible bit of business if true.

He's not good enough for us, we don't need him, and that price is extortionate.

look i don't always agree with everything at manchester city. ? from what i heard and seen in the media about jack-grealish signing for us. its done and dusted just ready for jack to sign after the euro's. am not a fan of him but saying that many other players we have signed i have not understood and they proved me wrong ?

i just don't understand the signing ? yes he can play and be great on his day and gets the fans of there seats
but this reminds me of rodney marsh signing for city back in the 1970s. we did not need him but was signed maybe because somebody else in the top 4 would. its better having to not face him in a top side. so we sign him to keep him out of there hands

i have this feeling that city are falling into the same trap and like i said before KDB foden silva mahraz for me are better options ?

So with the covid pandemic hitting clubs financially, we spend £100m on a player to stop other clubs buying him, na, Pep wants him and that is good enough for me

Who would you like us to sign?
Realistically if possible.

Thank you for asking. First, I am no football expert at all, and I have no issues with others’ wishes or dreams. Harry Kane is a great goal scorer, but he is aging quickly and on the declining side of his career. He would have been a nice addition 2-3 years ago, but not now. As a striker, Haaland or Lukaku is better (not getting into how easy or difficult to get one of them, but I have in my mind the costs of getting a quickly aging player like Kane). I always thought Lukaku was an excellent striker and natural scorer. He has done pretty well at Everton and Inter Milan. He was poor at United, but then who wasn’t? It will be great to see De Bruyne and Lukaku playing together at City. They have already shown how they work exceptionally well together for Belgium. There is also a viable option of using Torres as a striker, even occasionally until he proves himself. Torres, in his short career, has been doing an excellent job as a striker for Spain, so why not to try him more frequently at City? He is a fantastic young talent with a natural knack to scoring goals. Also, I always have Delap in my mind (not as the only striker option). He is another young talent and natural goal scorer. I do hope that he will not be ignored and moved at the end. As of Grealish, never convinced me to be a City player. In fact, I don’t see what is in him to be even considered to join City, and I saw him playing many times; perhaps for public relations reasons to attract young English fans, which is not my priority. But I am not running public relations at City, and I am no football expert, just a passionate City fan. I would prefer that we make it work with Bernardo Silva and keep him, that if he truly wants to leave. We tried very hard with Sane to keep him, and Bernardo is no less than Sane and we should do our best to keep him. Unlike Sane who could have mainly left because of his mom, I think Bernardo is mature enough and will stay if we addressed his major concerns. The guy always looks in love with City.

Just had a thought. Safe to say £100m is a tad daft. But as talksport were just reporting, Sancho on way to united. We got a sell on clause haven’t we? So rags partially funding Grealish?
15% owed to City from the Sancho deal.

Add that to:

Sane £55
Angelino £18
Nmecha £ 10
Sancho %

All of the above pays for JG.

Villa don't want to let him go, he's going to have to put in a transfer request.
This is all part of the charade of a transfer.

Club saying they won't sell, make themselves look the good guys.

Remember the KDB transfer, wolfsburg was adamant he was going nowhere then next minute he was ours.

When sky sports and the bitter journos start saying utd have bid for him then you know its happening.

So don't get Kane because he is aging but get Lukaku who is older than Kane.
