Consultation launched on closing face-to-face customer services
Bosses in Tameside are consulting on whether to close their drop in face-to-face customer services for good at the new multi-million pound council HQ.www.questmedianetwork.co.uk
This is the sort of thing that worries me post Covid. Whether some public services will never go back to 'normal'
Don’t think so think if they get over 75% of all age ranges done and over 85% of the first 9 groups thats fine, and I think we will.
Germany has an average cases per 1 million count the last seven days of 52 cases - the UK 1506.It is pointless seeking who to blame over all this. You only have to look at the different way Europe is reacting to see there is no actual right or wrong path.
Places like Germany want to be ultra cautious and ban all Brits from going there without strict restrictions even if double vaccinated in a desperate attempt to stop Delta taking over. Given how they are surrounded by other countries with land borders that likely will get it they face a long fight to get there and Britain will soon not be their main concern. Indeed cases will be falling here thanks to our higher vaccination numbers.
Whereas the holiday nations that need Brits now not 3 months from now to save some of the Summer will use vaccine passports to compromise and risk Delta getting in.
Right or wrong is not where we are. Finding a path that balances risk and reward is for everyone now.
Sorted that for you.Plenty of the guys who I play football with, who are in their late 20’s and early to mid 30’s who are thick cunts.
I'm hearing of loads of people catching it in the last few days. I suspect most are finding out by self testing and not putting it in the system which would suggest the current reported cases are the tip of the iceberg. On the plus side I'm not hearing of anyone being particularly ill because it's mostly young people who've had one jab.
But, crucially, hospitalisations remain relatively static at just over 200/day. When cases were at a similar level in Oct last year, hospitalisations were around 1000/day.Case numbers continuing that exponential rise, maybe a bit faster even.
Vaccinations now averaging 350k and falling; 175k completely vaxxed if two doses required.
Cases at 20kish reported, guess 60k in reality. Plus cases only hit the susceptible population.
Another fortnight on current trends and there could be as many people becoming immune through infection as vaccination.
Hard to imagine we won't see signs of growth starting to ease over that time, otherwise it could go properly tits up.
And 60k at Wembley, 140k at Silverstone a really bad idea if we don't see some signs of improvement soon.
Can never really be arsed getting into the conversation with them when having a pint after game, may as well talk to the wall when you immediately hear comments like “not having that shit put in to me”.Sorted that for you.
Plenty of the guys who I play football with, who are in their late 20’s and early to mid 30’s, have zero interest in getting the jab. Think there’s only one of them who has had it, and I’d guess that’s because he’s married with a kid and probably sees life differently.
I bet these cunts take any old pill they’ve just paid a tenner for on a Saturday night in Venus or Sankeys or whichever fucking place hasn’t closed down yet. And I bet there’s far more dodgy shit in that. Can never really be arsed getting into the conversation with them when having a pint after game, may as well talk to the wall when you immediately hear comments like “not having that shit put in to me”.
Ha, not quite, not really their bag tbh.I bet these cunts take any old pill they’ve just paid a tenner for on a Saturday night in Venus or Sankeys or whichever fucking place hasn’t closed down yet. And I bet there’s far more dodgy shit in that.

For every Pandremix vaccine dispensed, 100 Covid vaccines have been given out (30 million v 3 billion). To be fair, I can see their point. I’m a bit older and had mine as soon as I could but if I was under 30 I’d definitely consider not having it. What’s to say it won’t end up like the last vaccine they made for swine flu (Pandemrix) which ended up causing narcolepsy and got withdrawn? Pretty sure people slagged those off at the time that didn’t have it saying it was safe.
Reality check isn't it. It's not an irrational choice for them. Taking it would be also be a rational choice.Ha, not quite, not really their bag tbh.
I wouldn’t class them as anti-vaxxers, just lack of education and knowledge. Fit guys who just fancy their chances and are selfish cûnts.
The historical reasons for not being vaccinated?and the historical reasons for doing so were extremely strong.

If it wasn't safe we'd know about it by now.
There was a 1 in 10,000 chance of pandremix having serious side effects. The chances of any of the Covid vaccines causing serious side effects is a lot less than that and the data is there to prove it.
