England hospital data Part 2
The ventilator numbers over the 4 days for ventilators are:-
From 297 Friday - to 296 Saturday - 315 Sunday and 330 today, A rise of 33.
Last week the numbers went 238 - 236 - 244 - 272. A rise of 34.
Regionally here are the patient and ventilator numbers over the weekend and week to week
NORTH WEST
Patients:- 514 - 506 - 544 - 561 - up 47 of the 277 national rise was 429 - 442 - 466 - 498 - up 69 of the 181 rise.
You can clearly see that though nationally numbers are worse this week in the NW they are actually better. A much smaller proportion of the rise here.
The rises in the Midlands up 65 (254 to 319) and Yorkshire up 70 (252 to 322) are both worse,
London was up 41 to 364,
NORTH WEST
Ventilators: 104 - 94 - 96 - 108 - a good weekend up to today, But up only 4 of the 34 increase.
Last weekend was 87 to 101 - a rise of 14 - so again what looks like a good improvement in the NW.
Midlands up 45 to 55 and Yorkshire up 39 to 49 are the biggest reason the ventilator numbers were up over the long weekend.
Conclusion:- North West not out of it yet by any means as this data lags cases by a week or two.
But the signs are that it is not as bad as it used to be but nationally numbers will go up as other regions are further back on this curve,
