If anyone fancy's a flutter on Grelish' joining us then you can still double your money atm.

Tolmies Hairdoo, would Messi still be on the cards if we have Grealish?

Doubt it, even if Messi has always been treated in isolation.

The wages for Grealish could be pushing £250k a week I suspect.

If anything, there's would be more chance of Messi being on the cards if Kane doesn't progress (depending on what Messi now decides at Barca)

Seems odd they'd be offering him a new deal not 6 months after he signed the last one.

Absolutely. Why would Villa do that unless they don't hold the complete authority to retain him this summer?

An offer of a further financial incentive for Grealish is not required unless it is done out of necessity, in a last-ditch hope he would reject a club activating a buyout clause.

That's the beauty of this deal. Villa need to make it about money, whereas City are offering Grealish something he wants right now, a move to a bigger club with a chance to win trophies.

That's my take too. New contract with higher wages but he has to remove or considerably raise the buy out clause.

If England win tonight then both Kane and grealish will get the taste for trophies
If we win the euros they will want more
If we lose they will want further chances of glory
All plays into our hands even more
