Listening to BBC last night (all available on I player/BBC Sport) it annoys me how sycophantic all of them are. They just cannot bring themselves forward enough to go out and criticise. All holding back. They won't say that the game was there for the taking, when we all know that it was!
They must have seen that Emperor Southgate is completely naked! Oh well; best not to start rocking the boat.
Donna Summer did not have shot to save in extra time.

… but still people banging on about Marcus fucking Rashford! Not really the thread for it. As it’s in the main forum let’s keep the thread about City’s media coverage. Thanks.

Yeah I did say it was more for the United forum (or even off topic thinking about it). Apologies for keeping the conversation going, difficult not to when it’s in flow.

No problem mate, have tidied it up now. Hopefully we can get back on topic.

Great post. The Emperor's New Clothes - nice parallel. "Mum, the Emperor's only wearing a waistcoat."

Lineker has now tweeted that he needs to more positive in possession, throw more players forward.
It'd be all well 'n good had we the players who could retain possession going forward, and in doing so not putting the likes of Kyle needing to run off his giblets to chase down a counter. But the English mentality at the FA and in its management appointments just looks for caution first and adventure a good few miles down the road.

The game followed precisely the same pattern as the Croatia World Cup semi in Russia with the same predictable outcome but none of the pundits or commentators called the match accurately in real time.
Pundits who are invariably ex-England players will be desperate for a national success and will exhibit a certain blindness to aspects that the rest of us see staring us in the face. They will also want free access to any and all games at FA HQ so they know on which side of the Hovis the butter has been spread.

There are other threads where we can discuss England, let’s try and keep this one specifically about City please. Cheers.
My understanding is that it is a general media thread rather than exclusively orientated towards City. You could easily turn your argument on its head and say there are hundreds of threads were we can discuss only the Blues. The fallout from Sunday night is a major media item currently so I don't see why it should not feature here.

This is the Bluemoon forum.

I guess this tweet has given him lots of followers. I also assume all transfer speculation on twitter is trying to get clicks :(

But lets see, maybe he's rtight and Grealish is joining and Bernardo is leaving, but I suspect it is clickbait bollocks, makes me wonder why the guys in the transfer thread believe anything. It's the internet of bollocks.

Bloody crikey, where have my last two posts from last night gone, it was media and news and some Nazi or Communist or both has deleted them. :)
