The professional negotiator in action - those who hailed him as such need to hang their heads in shame - the man is a charlatan totally out of his depth - its never his fault is it?

Even to a patsy question he rambled....

Lord Frost responded: "We intend to implement what we signed up to but it's the fact of implementation that's causing the problem."

Today prog: Jack Ward from British Growers Association on not having the pickers, so anything not grade 1 may go unpicked.

Not a fan of anecdotal evidence but I have noticed gaps appearing in supermarkets, nearest Sainsbury’s also closed the Deli and Fishmonger sections. Problem is whether that is Covid or Brexit related or a combination of the two or even other factors I have no idea.

But you don’t leave a Europe wide Single Market with its mesh of supply chains and easy access to labour without hitting problems.

Non-anecdotal news from the remainy economist.

From a non-approved source no doubt but if it offends sensibilities I’ll summarise: do not buy meat sourced from the EU ever again.

I presume you're happy that the government is using dollops of your cash to subsidise an industry that never used to need it.
And whilst the net loss of finance jobs is not as bad as feared (yet), it hasn't stopped loads of businesses that used to pay UK tax change their jurisdiction to the EU with a consequent loss to the exchequer. The movement of trillions in assets out of London can't be seen as a huge Brexit benefit either.
As for your "briefings for Britain" article it didn't take long to work out that the author is fucking clueless.

Its not like they weren't warned - O h I see....this is project Fear? But its here.............

Oh dear, someone needs to tell Frostie that if you put up an East/West trade border then some trade will naturally realign North/South. Are Tories taking stupid pills or are they born this way?

Lord Frost tells Lords Ctte that increased cross border trade in Ireland is ‘in many ways a problem’ & he doesn’t want to encourage more of it.’ @BBC

They took everyone for idiots backed themselves into a corner and now can't believe they have to take the blame for their own lies and ineptitude.

Either that or they are just dumb fucks. Either suits as an explanation.

Can somebody tell me where we’ve made actual gains? From reading, we’re losing out in the agriculture/horticulture sector, fishing, finance, distribution, live music industry, NI, etc, etc, and I’m just trying to figure out what is the end-game for the conservatives.

Is it a matter of EU regulations that were barring certain elements of the Conservative lobby groups plans to commercialising/privatising certain areas, such as health?

Good luck with that. Some of us have been asking for 5 years and never once got a single tangible response. No shortage of abstract bollocks but nothing that can be quantified.

We’ve gained a sensible, moderate, considered, honest government of Brexit supporters who have calmly guided us through the biggest worldwide crisis since the war.

You’d think with absolutely everything pointing to absolute shit we’d be begging the EU to return … but there’s to many stubborn old gits and a half arsed country that don’t want to through ‘all that palaver again ‘

I don’t think there is the will just yet to push to rejoin and to be honest most people aren’t joining the dots about the agitation show that is Brexit, Covid is still exercising people’s attention
