They really are a disgrace aren’t they. Their editorial standards are at the bottom of the barrel which is no surprise given their plummeting sales performance which has led to endless cost cutting. Kept being bombarded by MEN on my iPhone. Took an expert at Tesco mobile an age to remove it. Said it was buried deep in Google. Got my life back.

Most of the traffic on its website is from overseas (or out of region) United fans. It really is just a clickbait operation. Of course most newspapers have gone down the same route. But decline at the MEN is worse than most of the media industry. It lost touch with its core audience years ago.
It takes some doing to sell just 16,000 papers in one of Europe's fastest-growing conurbations (population at least 3m these days).

The echo, in particular, is a pile of utter shite. They seem to write more articles referencing City than they do Liverpool - headlines like: “Liverpool watch on as Man City transfer shows important Klopp lesson” or some shite. Totally obsessed and trying to create a rivalry.

Good news is, if you get your news through google, you can block sources from appearing. Not looked back since, although I do miss the chuckle I used to have reading their crappy headlines
