Well said mate. I can see that happening. We won't be able to break with speed. We'll end up being ponderous around the penalty box and trying to get past 10 men and that will frustrate Pep. At least with Bernie he doesn't go looking for fouls and tends to drive us forward. Hate to see Bernie go, one of my favorite players.

We still need a centre forward.
I really don't want to leave!

Most of the comments about Grealish all assume - if he does come to us - that he'll continue to play in the same way that he's used in the Villa system. There's no doubt Grealish still has a lot to learn but with Guardiola managing him I think his play in a side like ours would change slightly.

Used correctly, along with the vision of KDB/Foden and the excellent off-the-ball runs our midfield/forwards make, I think he can could give another option to unpick some of these mega-parked buses that just try to stifle us. I don't want Bernardo to leave either, I love the little fella and hope he stays for a few seasons yet, but I can see how Grealish could give us a different dimension if Pep can make him tick in a way that slots into our system.

The twat will have to stop falling over though. And he needs to learn to press more......but apart from that, what have the Romans ever done for us?
The twat will have to get his hair cut

Same story

BBC, City in the headline....

Periods in sport: Manchester City and English Institute of Sport form research collaboration

The Guardian, same story....

Sport science body to track female athletes’ hormonal changes linked to menstruation

No mention of City.

Coincidence I'm sure.

Are they asking Ric to view the matchday threads for research?

So now the Euro’s is now slowly fading out i have my thoughts about how the media & fans have treated players….
We get beat by Iceland (from what i can remember)
The papers absolutely slate Sterling, everyday he’s enemy number one!
Buy’s his mum a house, fly’s on Easyjet, buy’s a greggs, he’s a footie idiot, a love rat - he’s boo’d up and down the country,
Racist tweets directed at him, attacked at the training ground etc… etc… etc….
What did he do wrong? Played poorly like most of them?
We move on to the Euro cup final 2020 where Rashford, Saka & Sancho miss penalties which did make the difference between winning and losing and receive racist tweets (most are from abroad which is weird) and they are lauded as Heroes and Kings. The media and the public are right behind them, the heroes of England with pictures with crowns on!
You would be daft not to think they scored the winning penalties to win the world cup.
Now, why i totally 1 billion % support Rashford, sancho & saka……WHERE THE FUCK WERE THESE TWATS WITH THEIR PLACARDS, PUBLIC SUPPORT & SKY SPORTS ROLLING NEWS FOR RAHEEM?
This poor lad got hung out to dry until on live tv, Chelsea fans hurled disgusting abuse at him - why?
Because the media made him out to be the sole reason England have been knocked out of a tournament and he left a beloved british institution that cannot do anything wrong called Liverpool - how fucking dare you try and better yourself and earn more money!!
Sterling decided to play for my club, which means he is part of my family - if the country & media aren’t going to support him…..FUCK EM
WE WILL!!!!!!!
City til we die

Sterling will be immense this season, i promise you

Rant over

New Talkshite editorial.

"The only club that can afford to buy decent players is..."

What is the world coming to - what kind of a headline is this?

'Man United-Bound Defender 'In Talks' To Buy House From Current Man City Star Sparking Transfer Rumours'

If the defender is 'Man United-bound, why would that spark a rumour / isn't that the actual rumour anyway?

I assume the rumour is about a City star leaving if he’s selling his house

Well Sterling actually lives in Goostry, Cheshire, so any Blues who live nearby have you seen a FOR SALE notice. Its about 12 miles from Winsford but not been there for aa couple of years.

The house in question is a house previously lived in by Raz. The click bait Sun obviously fails to make this point clear. The Metro does. the Sun remain a disgrace and will hopefully go to the wall soon. I am pleased to say that I learned this without giving either publication a click.
