Tbh, the source almost feels too random for it to be made up lol, why would a showbiz writer be randomly lying about a football transfer.... "Source from the player's brother's big wedding in London" is more plausible than it sounds, especially from the Sun who have sources all over London constantly feeding them info in exchange for cash/favours... The figures have probably been pulled out of thin air for embellishment though, highly doubt Kane was walking around saying 'yea they're paying me 400k a week'

That wage is not realistic at all, we'd be doubling his salary for no reason. He would 100% agree to move for less than 400k/week.
