The only possibilities are Steffen (because Lloris is ageing, also allows him to be first choice/regular) and Aké, no one else in the squad would change their place for Spurs because they all play an integral role.
"poch is back" that's all Daniel could say, not achance Sterling will go there even on 1m a weekBut not inconceivable, depending what’s being said to Sterling behind the scenes.
Are you just choosing to ignore the fact Sterling will not be going to Spurs?Ake plus Sterling plus £x million
Both return London.
Sterling could transform Spurs into a genuine top 4 club (as much as he frustrates me recently). We get Grealish.
Ake is a good defender. Laporte is happier.
Yes I am ignoring facts. They only get in the way.Are you just choosing to ignore the fact Sterling will not be going to Spurs?
Ake,yep,can see that.
I think the only chance is if he‘s been told - and believes - he’s surplus to requirements. I certainly wouldn’t bet on it happening but wouldn’t 100% rule it out."poch is back" that's all Daniel could say, not achance Sterling will go there even on 1m a week
He may well be told he can go but he is better than spurs, much better.I think the only chance is if he‘s been told - and believes - he’s surplus to requirements. I certainly wouldn’t bet on it happening but wouldn’t 100% rule it out.
His pride will take a dent if he‘s not selected tomorrow or just makes a token sub appearance. Now that is quite possible.
While making a flying visit to planet Tony,i'd be very content with that too ;-)In my made up world he goes to Spurs. Its got a more calming effect for me.

Not convincing myself of anything, mate. I said it was a long shot. But not every player is willing to sit on the sidelines for a year of their prime career time. So please dont tell me the situation’s as obvious as it gets. Likely, yes. Probable, yes. Obvious, no.Sterling wouldn't move from the best team in the world to also-rans who have won one trophy in the last 20 years or so and are nowhere near the CL. It's as obvious as it gets. Same with Jesus. They'd rather move to Inter, Atletico, Juventus, Milan, Bayern, PSG etc. etc. than to Spurs, and they'd rather stay at City for another year than sign for 5 years with Spurs.
People realise that we won't probably pay what Levy wants and try to convince themselves Sterling or Jesus would go to Spurs to make the deal happen. Problem is that's just wishful thinking. Steffen, Ake and Delap are the only realistic options for a cash plus players deal. Sterling, Jesus and Laporte are completely unrealistic options.
