isn't there a rumour about Dias getting a new deal due to how well he performed last season? would bring his wages up to reflect what he adds to the team

Yeah I seen something reported about that yesterday as well. Stones and Dias getting new contracts should boost their confidence further and Mahrez I believe is also in talks about new and better terms. Would imagine Foden might get a raise as well?

Whilst the grealish news is positive can’t help but be slightly concerned the Reddit poater/‘super itk‘ says the Kane move is up in the air and plan b is to go with what we have got.

If we don’t replace Sergio it will be a big mistake and I’d imagine Sergio would be pretty pissed off himself seeing as he was kinda eased out the club as he was told we where bringing in a top striker

We can still can Sergio back since he hasn't registered with Barca ;-)

Liverpool was injured. Chelsea was young and grew up by season's end. United was rudderless. But most importantly we had the advantage of no fans and atmosphere at games. Which meant as the most talented team around in what often felt like scrimmage games our advantage was pronounced.
Possibly the most American paragraph in Bluemoon history.

Using stupid American versions of group pronouns and the fucking word “scrimmage”.

Jesus H Christ. Only thing missing as an attempt to sing the anthem or shoot up a school.

We had to have confidence we would get our target. Aguero on the books would take up a squad space and big wages, neither could we afford if we wanted a new striker.

I did a podcast with Sam the other day and he said as much to me about Grealish being very close to done. It's been a weird one in terms of people being so sure for so long without it actually being completed. Even someone in Pep's coaching circle said it was "very close" two weeks ago.

It’s a weird transfer this one, city are secretive about their business and so are Villa. One side thinks he’s signing a new deal, the other side thinks he’s joining. It’s weird

It's just that the magnitude of transfer being done so secretly and outright denial from Villa has made it spicier. Still leaves a bit of doubt in your mind is all. I was mostly positive on Kane as compared to this move. Be ecstatic if it happens

Grealish will play Fodens position since Fodens injured hopefully it’s not bad but he is in a boot. Grealish can come straight in for now gives us more depth

I didn’t like grealish’s attitude based on what I had seen (that video of him driving his car) but was very impressed with that side of him at euros also. Looks to be maturing.
It’s always good to refresh the squad and if we’re honest last season we were not as penetrative and free flowing up front
