The piece in The Telegraph says the proposals are tied in with the government’s campaign to get as many 18-30 year olds vaccinated as possible and no mention of anyone younger than that. I’d be amazed if it included under 18s - this government specialises in PR disasters but the fallout from banning kids from attending sporting events would take things to a whole new level!
Think on the GOV website it say under 18’s will be exempt but like you say it wouldn’t surprise me if it gets the go ahead and they say under 18’s couldn’t attend
There is absolutely no chance that will happen. How can under 18s be prevented from attending matches as they are not eligible currently to be vaccinated?

It's 30 days from when you log in. Log in again in a few days and it will have a new date.
Not saying it is gonna happen but dont under estimate the stupidity of this government to even contemplate it
It seems everytime you go on it gives you a qr code for the same date next month, I've tried this since Friday and it's changed everytime

Yes it appears to have changed in the last few days. No idea if it means anything or not but to be fair I have no idea why it had a expiry date in the first place

Probably because if you register a positive test as I did it disappears and when I registered a negative test result it was back on with a 28day expiry date.

No it has given me a new date yesterday and today. Now expires on the 24/08. On Friday it expired the 19/08. Deffo changed the way it works over the weekend

I did exactly same and was perplexed/ worried but others have now explained why it shows that date etc
There’s no fun in that!
Also reduces the likelihood of unvaccinated people sharing/copying someone else’s QR code to try and get around the regs
