Didn't betray us, was offered the chance to join the biggest club in Germany in turn would make him the poster boy of the national team, just hasn't worked out for him. He sulks a lot and has a tattoo of himself on his back haha. Was class watching Sane run down the wing for us though.

From memory, Sane wasn't supposed to be playing in the Community Shield presumably as we had a deal lined up with Bayern. Mahrez gets injured last minute, Pep plays Sane instead who then suffers the year long injury thus delaying his move. So if anyone deserves to be a bit shitty about the whole situation, it's probably Leroy himself.

you never know what your getting until the new signing starts training for your club. match day is the showcase but the hard miles are done in the week at training and fitness. maybe this is what pep seen day in day out and knew its far to much to teach or change.
