City for life brother. What’s your issue?Just read 2 threads, both with your input. This & the Grealish one. You're really hurting aren't you? Who do you really support?

Actually I don't have a problem with this. They already do it at lots of overseas grounds (using a card) and it makes it much easier to get a beer at half time. The situation at City (at least in my block) is diabolical in terms of getting food and drink. We should also have these high tech vending machines which enable you to get decent food and drink which you also see abroad a lot.Wait until a few months from now, when the club announce that all cash payments will cease and payments for food/drink etc will only be available through your NFC enabled phone so they can track how valuable you are to City by total spending patterns.
From what I can see the Alcatel 1S does have NFC if that helps - currently 79.99 on AmazonCheers. Can't see carphone warehouse stock it any more. Phones like the alcatel 1s alcatel 3l 2020 etc are there but they don't have NFC. Will keep looking if I can find that 922 model anywhere
Yep seems it does. ThanksFrom what I can see the Alcatel 1S does have NFC if that helps - currently 79.99 on Amazon
That option to download will only be available once the s/tickets are ready to download, there's no point trying before you get the 2nd email. In the email sent by the club it gives you instructions on how to download your season ticket. It also states they will email you within 7 days of when the ticket is available for you to do said download. Has anybody tried to download their ST before they have received the 2nd email, and if so were you successful? I have just tried and when I click on the ticket the bit that tells you to download to your wallet is not their so cant do anything. Can anyone help please?
People who are embracing the change don’t need to say anything, hence it’s the people that don’t want the change making the noise. The only conclusion to be drawn from the latter pages of this thread is that the average age of blue moonies is possibly even older than the average age of our away support.
You can’t stop what’s coming ….. embrace it
Funnily enough I was in Goole yesterday, not the highlight of my week! It's a good job you're not from Goole with that user name.
;-)
Not to have a go at you mate but what do you need help with exactly? You answered your own question “the email states they will email you again in 7 days when the ticket is available”In the email sent by the club it gives you instructions on how to download your season ticket. It also states they will email you within 7 days of when the ticket is available for you to do said download. You can't separate the "tech" from the people it's intended to serve. It really will be un surprising when there is chaos at the first game and people are blaming the “tech”
Maybe because the only phone you'd get for the price of one of the tins are 2 coke tins and a peice of string.Instead of sending out bloody tins that probably only the kids want, how about they send a phone with your season ticket loaded as a gesture of goodwill for messing everyone around.
Or a tent so you can get a good spot in the match day queue.Instead of sending out bloody tins that probably only the kids want, how about they send a phone with your season ticket loaded as a gesture of goodwill for messing everyone around.
It's a football club not a branch of the SS. They should not be forcing anyone to do what they are not comfortable with. Perhaps some are happy to be force fed by Google and the like!People who are embracing the change don’t need to say anything, hence it’s the people that don’t want the change making the noise.
Hopefully it becomes a non-issue come September.
Why will it necessarily be the tech that fails? You can't separate the "tech" from the people it's intended to serve.
If there's chaos at the first game the tech will have failed.
Not sure, if you can store things like boarding passes etc in there then I’d say yesDoes anyone know if I can use the Samsung pay app instead of Google pay?
The tech doesn't exist in isolation; without people it has no purpose, so it needs to allow for human error. Why will it necessarily be the tech that fails?
When people can’t even follow simple instructions in an email then subsequently have “issues” entering how is that techs fault?
Yes systems can fail as in all walks of life but most of the time it is down to user error
