Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if City have been in for Kane for far longer than we realise, and the gentleman's agreement was made with City in mind.

Ye that's possible. Maybe didn't expect him to have as good a season as he did either. And despite that finishing out of CL spots. The whole thing blew up in his face really.
