Lol - is this Aston Villa we're talking about? We outnumbered them at their place in the FA cup a few seasons ago. Certainly seen a lot more concrete than punters down the years at villa park - plus not exactly filling out the away end at Maine rd or the etihad. If they are judging our fan base off the last league cup ( when they were twatting 9 and 80 year olds - too shithouse to do anything inbetween), then it's hardly a good measure - Wembley fatigue, poor kick off time / day with transport etc ( still sold out btw) - if the situation was reversed i.e no success for eons, then we would be filling Wembley 3x over

Yes I hope like us the club have also had enough and take an aggressive approach from now on. I believe we said a while back once we have a strong squad we should only need two top signings a year or so to stay at the very top. Being successful in prize money and selling academy players not quite up to our standard should fund most of the costs. Hopefully every so often our academy players make the grade too.
