If you do accept them then the above is the guidance, it isn't law or anything, just advice from a QANGO, and the only recourse if refused is if you can prove in court they have breached the Equality Act.

Any business can choose its customers as long as it does not contravene equality legislation, of course they don't have to do it (yet at least) but they can if they wish.

Same as banning smoking, it was done in football grounds a year or two before compulsory ban came in, and most other work places 20 years before the ban.

Let’s hope they never become a legal requirement and football clubs don’t start refusing admission.

It never stopped people smoking in the bogs or on the spirals!

I hope so too but Spurs seem to have gone full blown for Sunday bar under 18s. This info was only published at 1815 on 10/08 and bound to catch some people out. The airport like security at the away end there will make be a nightmare.

Glad I am giving this one a miss, it is bad enough going there without the risk of a letter or covid app not scanning correctly on the way in, and there will be zero contingency plan.
