So.... On the basis that not having a recognised striker could well 'cost us' this season, how would you feel if the false 9 fails and we struggle to get top 4? You'd be absolutely devastated.
You do realise that Haaland, Kane, or any other top striker wouldn’t come anywhere near us if we don't have CL football in 22-23?
As long as we don't have a decent striker, there's an outside chance of us falling off our perch.
We need Kane now. We can add Haaland next season if we want to throw even more money around.

No mate, 100 million is a fair price, but we should not pay much more. I would be comfortable with 125 million so long as we get at least 50 million for unhappy/homesick Bernardo.

Look how tedious the deals for Modric and Bale were and they were moving to a completely different country. Now think Spurs are selling their best player to not only a team in their same league but the best team in their league which would obviously only strengthen us further. Given the current downhill momentum Spurs are in at the moment will only strengthen Levy's will to keep Kane also. A move like this was always going to take time.

I hope we are not just getting obsessed with having Kane at any price & because no other options are on the table now. The fee is getting a bit silly. If Kane fails for us or gets injured often we are screwed for 2 seasons at least.
