I don't change my mind because haaland had a great game against some bundesliga team.

What has Kane had great performances against all his career? It was mostly weak teams. Frankfurt is one of the best in the Bundesliga again this year

I’m watching this Dortmund game in a Brazilian open tv channel (the one everyone can see anywhere as opposed to cable). They have the option to show one Bundesliga game per round and chose this one, not Bayern. The reason is Haaland. For the poster who asked what a superstar is. It’s someone people tune in to watch. Like Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo, Mbappe. Haaland is already on that bracket. He is fun and literally spectacular. A team that wants to dominate Europe has to be a team that everyone around the world wants to watch play.

And another goal by the guy.

How do you know this is the reason? Did someone at the "open channel" tell you this is why they are showing that match? Or do you "know" because you just "know" this is the reason?

I actually do know people from that channel but no, they didn’t tell me. It’s an obvious marketing decision. Haaland is a star in Brazil already. The commentary is all about him. They will show Bayern games too throughout the season, but I can bet with you Dortmund will be shown more. I’ll keep you posted.

The fees involved are going to be astronomical and even then he could still say no, Dortmund aren't selling this summer and we can't wait a year to find out we can't do the deal anyway.

Seen some deluded folk saying he'll only cost £75m next year, don't you think Raiola knows this, he'll command more than that as a signing on fee, that's on top of the wage demands that will be higher than De Bruyne's.

I didn't ask if you know people there. I asked if someone told you. The Dortmund v Eintracht Frankfurt match was likely to be better than German rags v Köln. I'd contend this is why the former match was chosen. However, I do not know this as a fact.

Sure. Keep me posted. I understand. You prefer Haaland over Harry Kane. This is definitely an acceptable position to hold. However, I don't believe this why the match was being televised. I do believe there are probably a number of factors which go into the decision Is it possible they are "pimping" Haaland to the television audience? It is possible but I'm not of this opinion.

The fees for Kane will be astronomical too. Difference is Haaland could lead the line for 10+ years, and I doubt Kane would last any longer than 2-3 seasons. Wages would be pretty similar
