No news is good news. Means both clubs are managing this professionally without media deadlines, make weights etc.

The fact there’s more or less a media black out on this (Sky have been guessing for 2 weeks when Kane will train and still haven’t got it right) makes me think it’s happening.

Spurs will be lining up replacements and will want them in place before pulling the trigger.

I just don't feel particularly strongly about it. Still down as "no" on the poll because I'd prefer a different player but Kane is top quality and immediately makes us more of a threat.

If it happens then I'll be happy and if it doesn't then I'll be slightly less happy. Although if we don't sign a single striker then I'm not sure how many toothless performances I'll be able to watch this season before going totally insane.

But transfer sagas just don't feel as dramatic as they used to. I think my excitement for off field drama peaked at the CAS verdict.
