Harry Kane

Everyone screaming for a release clause should thank themselves lucky that its not that popular in the UK or the likes of PSG may have come in at some point and paid for KDB or Foden years ago.

That's all very thought out and articulate, It does seem as if you think that every decision made regarding our transfers is badly thought out / poorly implemented.

I personally have a little more faith in those who have guided us to unprecedented success rather than an opinion that would seem to criticise the entire team.

Fantasy football this is not.
Fair comment up until:

Well, no kidding.

The TL/DR summary of my concerns about this transfer window: we've known that we needed strengthening in several positions for months going into the window - and so far we've signed no one to fill any of these spots. Meanwhile we've broken the English transfer record on an extremely good and exciting player, but this signing doesn't shore up any of the positions at which we are weakest.

Yes, we can only pursue what's on offer - but going into this season without any upgrade at LB, DM or if Laporte leaves - some sort of replacement at CB - and if the Kane deal falls through - no top class striker in our side...

Well yeah...

Put in mathematical terms - my "fantasy football" wishlist of common sense signings

union our actual signings to date

is the null set.

No way KDB or Foden leave the best league in the world to play with a bunch of farmers
Well you don't give them the easy negotiation to do it.
Nobody ever thought Neymars buy out would get touched either. Football is a different game now.

We should be glad Grealish got one in his contract or we probably never could have got near him.

I sincerely hope that all these spurs fans remain on this forum for the entire season, it'll be nice to explain to them the reasoning behind Tanganga's red card at the swamp for persistent fouling in March! ;)

Can't believe we're haggling over such massive transfer fees for Kane when Ings, Andre Silva, Martinez, Calvert-Lewin and Bamford either are available, or were available, this summer for significantly cheaper. We need someone who can stand in the right place and slam the ball in the net when one of our trillion attacking midfielders puts it on a place for them. We don't need to spend £130m to rectify that issue.
I would play Jesus ahead of everyone of those players
We need a kane, haaland, lewandowski type player otherwise no point
Look at Bayern, they couldn’t get lewandowski from Dortmund and had to wait a year
Madrid couldn’t get Ronaldo and waited a year
These deals are not easy at all

Anthony Taylor was on form with how he handled that situation. Also Neville slating the handling of it and suggesting Tanganaga should have been booked, then gave him man of the match. Such a hypocrite.

Haha you actually belive Levy isn't taking calls you really are as stupid as you seem.
All part of the narrative
Next phase is transfer request or offer we couldn’t refuse
Just spurs trying to win the points scoring
Liverpool nailed us for sterling, Wolfsburg for de bruyne, spurs for walker
Well that’s if you talk money with associating the success
