I'd put a cheeky bid in for Lewandowski, I can see kane being left high and dry here all because Levy is a complete bellend.
Maybe it might work the other way and Levy might shit his pants.

I want to believe that Khaldoon is not just an empty vessel making a lot of noise in his post season reviews but at this moment, 7 windows without a LB, few more without an athletic DM and 5 years since signing a CF reeks to me of the same.

If there is something City do well it is in identifying top players and buying them. Look at the trophies.

According to Lewandowski, Bayern want over £100 million for him and he turns 33 in 2 days time - Levy must be working for Bayern as well!

No mate, I’m not likely to get anything more from the lass who told me about the meeting. She’s part of a team of people who work in a central admin function, she won’t have anything to do with meeting minutes

Bayern arent getting £100m for him. Theres probably 2 or 3 clubs in world football who can afford £100m transfers and none of them are paying it for a 33 year old. I would take him at City for half that figure.

Yep, if Kane was the absolute priority (he is) logically you sort that deal first. However, there was an expiry date on the Grealish release cause so we had to act when we did.

The Dias release clause was €92mil and that's why initially we wouldn't go near him.Then Benfica who were short of money anyway got knocked-out in the CL qualifiers and missed out on the big paydays for group stage onwards.

Listen to the Khaldoon interview again. This windows dealings were always predicated on wheeling and dealing in a very difficult market but moving on players - Bernie, Jesus etc. But the very difficult market is worse than that - it's almost dead due no one having any money. No doubt the last week will be busy though.

Why should we have bought a striker, say, 2 years ago when Kun was still firing and Jesus hadn't been written off?

Whilst I understand where you are coming from, I would urge you to take a step back and see where we are as a club and maybe have a sneaky peek at what we have achieved.

Unprecedented levels of success, the likes of which I could only dream of when I was getting taunted as we were subjected to endless replays of Ricky Villa waltzing past our defence to rip my heart out.

30 fucking years until that was purged from my soul.

I dreamed of having a single solitary FA Cup run or perhaps, (dare to dream) a League Cup triumph, and yet here we are; the dominant team in England and a baw's hair away from being champions of Europe and improving in the meanwhile.

It is not for me to tell you how to feel as a fan but I, for one, am supremely happy with how our club is being managed and trust our owners implicitly.

Setting aside any allegiances, I would venture to suggest that any football fan would happily take our success over the past decade rather than any other club.
