Great spin on 'never wanted him anyway'The Cub want him but how do you know Pep is keen on Kane?
Could save it for another week or so though.

Good post. Pep is lead Coach. He don't run the club. The board will identify targets, get Pep's thoughts and take it from there.I have a feeling that the board talk to him.
So if they are still trying to sign him Pep wants him by that logic…Good post. Pep is lead Coach. He don't run the club. The board will identify targets, get Pep's thoughts and take it from there.
Pep almost certainly wants him, when he renewed his contract I truly believe the club said they will support him fully on a couple of transfers and these are the ones they agreed on.
For me, I think he would be quality and would really help.
Seeing the team score 5 today, I still think we need him.
Let’s hope it is done ASAP
Because we are not disjointed with our management. They work as a whole and certainly don't buy players against Pep's wishes. This should be obvious to anyone. The Cub want him but how do you know Pep is keen on Kane?
What makes you sound so defeatist on the Kane deal?Fair play to levy/Spurs and sticking to their guns. Feel sorry for Kane he was sold the dream and had it pulled from him. I’m gutted he won’t be a city but happy a play of his ilk chose city. I just hope we have someone lined up but I’d doubt it
Don’t know maybe it’s just seeing him travel with Spurs for tomorrow and not hearing a thing about a deal in the last few days. Just seems it’s the beginning of the end of this transfer I hope I’m completely wrong thoWhat makes you sound so defeatist on the Kane deal?
Can you imagine the reception he’s going to get from the fans? And remember, those in attendance will be the hardcore, so if it’s hostile, which I imagine it will be, then he’ll know what to expect if he stays. Levy probably wants him there as an unused substitute.Don’t know maybe it’s just seeing him travel with Spurs for tomorrow and not hearing a thing about a deal in the last few days. Had a 2hr Meth session 10.00 - 12.00. Personally I think it is a huge gamble to pay over the odds fo Harry. £65 mil max then I'd say give him a go.As Tommy Doc used to say on Picc 261, ' It's all about opinions'Ah the class of 2021 are producing some belting posts.
One can only think you've been in a crack den all day!
Take it you don't want us to sign kane?

I think that’s no coincidence at all.Just a snippet from today *I haven’t read through all the pages so I’m sorry if it’s been said* but the announcer said ‘of course it’s our number 9 Gabriel Jesus’ and it felt a bit like hmmm why make a deal out of it when everyone else’s number was just said normal. BTW this is completely nothing just summet I noticed and 99% means nothing.
Of course he can travel with them. That makes no difference whatsoever, he's an employee of theirs up until the point where he hears different and a bid is accepted.Don’t know maybe it’s just seeing him travel with Spurs for tomorrow and not hearing a thing about a deal in the last few days. No one at the moment. No need to make a panic buy. Get someone lined up for January if we are not performing, any proven sticker wil do. £65 mil max.Who do you think we should target then?

a good friend of mary brownTommy Doc. Who was he?
Not as an elite fast bowler you can't. But I know that you know this. :-)
I agree with you. I think its virtually done. :)Normally I don't stick my neck out because past experience shows that's there's usually a bloody sharp axe that falls on it. But here goes.
I think the Kane deal is all but done and will be completed before Spurs have to find another fitness excuse to explain his absence from their next lineup. Apparently Nuno has said he won't try to persuade Kane to stay which probably means it's academic as the guy is on his way. I guess at the moment Spurs and City are discussing the financial construction of a deal which will magically show a win-win for both parties, Levy getting circa £150m and City being able to demonstrate that he didn't.
I'm going to press the Post Reply button now after which I will regret doing so.
