I really don't think of that adjective with that person.
I am not a big fan but more to the point I think he's well past his best, although I don't like him I have to concede that his best was pretty impressive.
Past his best but miles better than anything we currently have upfront and well capable of matching Lane for goals in our team this season. I’m still hopeful we get Lane but if that can’t be done Ronaldo is a great plan B.

Our names being banded about to get him a new contract
Possibly true - but if it helps us knock £30m of the Kane price who cares.

And if he does come here for a year and that takes us through to when Haaland has a release option and Mbappe is a free agent and we have more money to spend then this makes sense all round.

Has there ever been a front 3 comprised of more show ponies than:

Grealish - CR7 - Mahrez

Lets make it happen. We would sell so many half and half scarfs.

Utterly unenthusiastic about this, if there's any truth to it, which I doubt. The only circumstances that I'd find interesting would be giving him a one-year contract, and then going in balls deep for Haaland next summer (and being as certain as you can be in this life that we'll get him).
This is short-fix thinking. If we've been ahead of the game over the last ten years (and miles ahead of United) it is because we don't do short fix. We plan for the medium term, and even the long term.

Maybe, I'm not sure the Italian league appears tolerant of older players who have lost their pace. I have not been impressed with him when I've seen him recently.

Is Ronaldo played as a CF or winger in Juventus? We really need an out and out center forward and not another hybrid.

Possibly the best option we can get over the line for this season & I would expect his goals scored per £ invested would make him good value in this market. Yes he’s got an ego bigger than most small countries but I suspect MCFC have some experience in dealing with individuals vanities

It's a tough one this. I hate him because of him being a rag but I hated Tevez until he switched. If he joined City he would piss the rags off so much it's impossible not to enjoy it.

A lot of people call him selfish and egotistical but I can't recall many games where he has cost his teams as a result. He's a winner. He cares about winning and others seem to raise their game for him. He would get goals for us that's certain. Physically he is still in excellent shape to be a top player in the prem.

It's not a signing I would expect us to go for because he doesn't strike me as a player Pep would want to work with... but stranger things have happened.

I take 3 things from these stats

1) between ages 33-36 he’s clearly not past it
2) it appears he doesn’t miss many sitters to hit those numbers
3) between ages 33-36 he doesn’t get injured often

Make it happen City and save £100m+ for someone with their best years ahead of them

Top scorer in the Euros and still miles quicker over 15 yards than Kane. Won’t be many sprints from halfway to be done with how teams set up against us. Great header of the ball,, great finisher with either foot, still as sharp as anyone around the box with a brilliant touch….. Shite at free kicks too so should fit right in.

Juve have gotten worse and won less since he's been there.
Don’t discount mate the fact Juve literally paired him with a pep wannabe chain smoking Sarri and a very inexperienced Pirlo as a managers.

With that in account, I think them not performing as well as they should in the CL was a major contributor.

Absolutely correct.

a massive mistake by Juventus in not retaining Allegri after winning three Serie A titles on the trot.

Pirlo, a truly great player, was, sadly, totally unfit for team management.

We have a Raiola player already, Philippe Sandler.

I don't see us going for a high profile Raiola player though a la Pogba or Haaland. He takes far too big a cut.
I couldn't give a flying fuck how big of a cut Raiola takes of his client's money.

I think you meant to say he demands too large of an agent fee. I know it seems like nitpicking but there is a difference and it is significant .

All that said, I think Raiola is a twat.
