If by 'allowed it to happen' we walked away rather than have the piss taken out of us, then I'd be happy for it to be allowed to happen every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

by "allowed it to happen" i mean "allowed ourselves to entirely focus all of our attention towards one player", which is not a good plan! Is it a controversial thing to say, that only looking at one player with no contingency plan isn't a good transfer strategy?

Stinks of the 2019 summer. Just won the league and needed to strengthen in a key position. All the eggs in one basket, didn’t land the target and it fucked us all season. The same will happen this season. The fact Liam Delap is the only out an out striker at our club is an absolute fucking disgrace from everyone involved. Someone should have been strong enough to tell Pep that he can’t just say he ONLY wants Kane. We needed a backup option. Even if it was someone like Ings etc. Just piss poor.

Ronaldo will be more than fine attacking wise..but I don't know how the team will function vs the big sides with him. Our front players usually work very hard for getting the ball quick and it is difficult to imagine Ronaldo doing this (i may be wrong though).

KDB will surely enjoy playing with him. He is the best crosser in the world and would be nice to have CR7 at the end of your crosses...Also the united fans' tears will be amazing.

Its almost as if we haven't just signed one of the best game changing attacking midfielders in the league,and maybe Europe.

Guess we class this as a transition season. Maybe a cup or two. Don’t see us challenging without a striker. Everyone else has strengthened. We brought in Grealish who is a very good player but he’s not a finisher. A finisher is what we needed and we failed. Can’t wait for the constant missed chances in big games.

A waste of a Pep season. I just watched him speak live at an event here in Brazil. He literally said seven years is a lot, he’s thinking of a break at the end of his time left and then move on to a national team. There’s no other way of spinning it: if at the end of the window, we haven’t signed a forward, we have failed.
