I didnt know that, was just putting in what the Spanish source said thought it was in one fee. I’ll post the quote its 39 million instead of 40

“Barcelona must pay their star player and club captain Lionel Messi a loyalty bonus of €39m at the end of the campaign, even if he decides not to renew his contract, report El Mundo.

The fresh report outlines how Messi must be paid a total of €38,964,977.50 by the club this summer, regardless of whether the Argentine pens a new deal.”

Yeah, he has seen his contract out, do gets the bonus whether he extends or not. So wouldn't think he is holding off announncing anything because of that.

I'm sure I read, at the time his contract was leaked, that his bonus is paid as he goes as it winds down

On the topic of Messi, there probably been no noise from him as he’s waiting for his loyalty fee which I didn’t realise how much he’s getting, Spanish news say he’s getting 40 million euro loyalty fee at the end of his contract fucking hell
Amazing hahaha

Yangel Herrera has had an injury (broken tibia)
May mean he can't be loaned or sold next season.
He'll probably have to come back to the Etihad for rehabilitation.

Can we offer 150m to BVBs scouting team instead?
No secret to what they do, but how many trophies do they win?

And how much commission do they pay players agents to get these bright young players to their club?

I would imagine the agent of 17 year old Jude Bellingham received a huge amount, would we pay the same? I don't think so and a reason we may miss our on Haaland.

Every big organisation evaluate their employers ones a year or ones in several year. If we don't sign the right striker some questions has to be answered within the organisation. And if it means that some people needs to be replaced so be it. It's an important season. We've used Gary Cook signings for a long time (within all the seasons we've won trophy's). Especially in the striker position, every signing after Agüero have flopped, in that role. We are now looking in someone who can succeed him. That's a difficult task. But that's part of the scouting and technical/sport directing roll to find them and convince them to join this club.

Which Gary Cook signing were in the team that just won the league, league cup. Got to a champions league final FA cup semi final? So evaluate that.
