I didn’t want Kane, didn’t think he was right for us and I don’t like the guy, but if he joined I would have supported the him, probably wouldn’t grow to love him.
Same with Ronaldo, you don’t have to love him, just support him.

He's only got a handful of years at a top level left and he wants each one to be a chance at winning the Champions League. Last season got squandered by Juve appointing Pirlo and they are in no state to challenge this season. That's why he wants out - it just so happens that we are left as the only available option this late in the window.

I hope we get him but I'd take any striker at this point. It would be fun to see City do a properly marquee signing, it's been a long long time since they did one.

Ronaldo is the biggest football star on the planet this would be a good deal for our club imo all those kids who love Ronaldo will want to dance to the Etihad to watch him.

Honestly don't think it'll happen tho we get this every year although this year we've had both Messi & Ronaldo Ickle City eh?

How's it any different than schmeichel or Cole. I'll grant you tevez is different, but schmeichel is worshipped by them and is also a massive arrogant wanker. At least Ronaldo benefits us more than those two did at the time.

Football wise I get that but the buzz for Man Utd would be irresistible and commercially they'd be printing money. I think there is a good chance will end up there. If they match our offer, where would he go?
 
There is literally a generation of kids who don't even know Ronaldo played for the rags.

Ronaldo is the poster boy of what it takes to get to the top level. There is no better role model for the academy lads and even the likes of KDB are going to be a bit star struck if he walks through the CFA doors. Barely anyone matches what hes achieved, he is the right sort of person to have in the team.
