I think an additional key point is that Mendes seems to have a very good relationship with City. We're like the club he sends the players to who are too good for Wolves.

Clearly the offer is weighed up by Mendes and presented to Cristiano. If he's still pushing for a move it means he's okay with it. Just a matter of clubs accepting it. Net salary being that means he's probably on way more, bonuses + incentives, close to or maybe slightly more than what KDB makes I reckon.
