There's a slot on the gate with the NFC reader. Insert ticket or phone with the code upwards and wait for the green light. So it's a QR code then.
Where do you go to get that scanned, do the stewards do it or is there a camera on the gate with the NFC reader?
Here's a screenshot of today's email from them UNBELIEVABLESTILL NOT received my Arsenal print at home email for my grandson who's a match card holder. What I have received is a option to print the WATFORD game which is next APRIL. How is that possible? Nothing surprises me anymore with this shower of SH- TE. CTID
Definitely not smarter than the average bear. Here's a screenshot of today's email from them UNBELIEVABLE
Good observation too.Definitely not smarter than the average bear.
With full knowledge of the location of the NFC chip in your phone, and the Google Pay app open, you hold the phone to the reader and nothing happens. After you've done that 3 or 4 times holding the phone at different angles you give up and display the barcode / QR code which you insert into the reader and get a green light.
After several dozen people at each gate have done this the queues build up.
I suppose it is possible that you're so much cleverer than than everyone else, so we should bear that in mind.
There is a sort of caveat to that... Many, many people went early last week, at the club's request, and were kept waiting outside in the rain. This week those same people, one of whom is me, may not go early! Therefore the queues might be longer this week. I am definitely NOT going as early ever again. (Unless Dunnie, Vinnie or Zaba are waiting outside for me of course!!!) ;-) :-)The queues were fine last week.
Good point - it always tends to be worse for 1230sThere is a sort of caveat to that... Many, many people went early last week, at the club's request, and were kept waiting outside in the rain. Hey @Corky , come on... you know I never make good points!! I'm too obsessed with City especially some of the ex-players to ever make good points!!! ;-) :-)Good point - it always tends to be worse for 1230s
We have the same issue, however both of us have been given the same ticket number on email but on printed tickets there are 2 different numbers and neither of them match. Another fuck up in this whole process, I just accept that its full of errors and roll with it nowMy mate's Print at Home Ticket wouldn't work last week and so he was let in by a steward. This afternoon he received an email from the Club saying if you've downloaded your ticket more than once you must use the most recently downloaded ticket or the barcode won't work at the turnstile. It goes on to say " Your active ticket is Ticket Number XXXXXXX" He has only downloaded the ticket once and yet his has a completely different ticket number. Too late now to start ringing so he'll take his chances tomorrow. Anyone else had this?
Had the same email. Different number to the one on my ticket. Ticket did not work, steward let me in.My mate's Print at Home Ticket wouldn't work last week and so he was let in by a steward. There will be a few thousand in the same boat, they haven't got round to doing anything with the RBL tickets yet, so not clear if you can print at home on the Cup Scheme if PAT season ticket. Absolutely insane if you can't but wouldn't put them.I am in all 3 cup schemes and am a print a home person. I don't appear to have had any problem with printing league game tickets BUT I think my luck might be running out. My online account shows I have purchased Leipzig and Wycombe tickets but appears to be saying I'll be able to download these onto my mobile which of course I'd love to do but sadly my phone doesn't support the NFC (is it) technology, hence the paper ticket dinosaur I currently am. I have contacted customer services by email and had a reply which necessitated another note from me. If I am a paper ticket receiver then extend that status to all my purchases please. Anybody else in this situation?
If you chose print at home then your tickets for cup schemes will also be print at home too I’ve been toldThere will be a few thousand in the same boat, they haven't got round to doing anything with the RBL tickets yet, so not clear if you can print at home on the Cup Scheme if PAT season ticket. The email confirmation could easily have added that information rather than asking everyone to contact them if they have issues.....If you chose print at home then your tickets for cup schemes will also be print at home too I’ve been told
